Anyone ever play this game? your thoughts on the game?

It was one of the few GBA titles worth the time, IMO. I bought it when it first came out in 2001, and I enjoyed the hell out of it

back in the day, when it was new all the mag like emg etc.. said it was pritty good so i'll gave it a try after i beat FF advance

i loved golden sun! :) i thought it was a beautiful game! i also beat the second one. i hope there are more sequels.(since you have a loaded cleared game, there probably will be.)

i beat Golden sun but i hade 3 golden sun 2 everytime i lost one i bought another but i lost all 3.now i don't know where they're selling it.but i still have the regular golden sun.The avatar i have now is from Golden sun.

you need around 1 million experience points to get level 99.that's impossible unless you get that cheat code to get isaac's party level 99.that's what i did.

Its not impossible you just got to battle a lot of monster like me Im a pro at this game.

I have only played golden sun2 quite amazing but the final boss the three headed dragon was also quite amazing

You can beat both games in the 30s, leveling to level 99 is insanity.

Though I believe there's like some level 50 cap or something after awhile.

i just like getting in high levels so i can learn more psynergy.

All the characters will have obtained all their Psyenergies before they reach level 40. There isn't a need to get to the 90s, if that's even possible. :p

Really, you can easily pwn the Fusion Dragon and Deadbeard by that point. xD

I have isaac, garet, ivan and mia at 99 and piers,felix,sheba and jenna are in the middle 60's level wise.

2 is better than one though. There are tonnes of secrets and sidequests which are fun to find.

fusion dragon sucks.i beat them on level 26.and saturous and menardi on level 26.i always kill menardi first.

With some skillful use of of your djinn it is possible to defeat the fusion dragon on gs1 quite easily, but I tend to go for levels 0f the late 50s as thats when each character roughly learns their last psyenergy.

Now on gs2 the doom dragon can easily defeat a level 99 party with its 'cruel ruin attack' if your not careful, especially if it uses 'djinn storm' then 'cruel ruin'. Its a awesome attack to watch.

I reccomend defeating the secret bosses in the yampi desert and contingo sanctum with high levels as they can easily destroy your party if your not careful

i have golden sun 1, i liked the djinns.
I havent actually beaten the game yet. Im in the final dungeon but i havent got to the final boss yet. Couldnt be bothered. I played my friends copy of Gs2 but it looked exactly the same so i didnt other getting it.

It does look the same but it hella alot different to the original, remember the original game your party was on a set path but the second one you can go anywhere. The second game borrows alot of ideas from final fantasy.
