how many people can be in a clan

how many people can you have in your clan.and what exactly is the clan for.

The clan seems to be for competitive purposes. Everytime you when a battle against another person while you are part of a clan, you earn your clan a point. After a certain amount of points is earned, the clans rank will go up. If you are part of a clan and you lose a battle against another person (or retreat) from the battle, you get a point taken away from your clan's rank points. I'm assuming you can go down a rank too.

As far as how many people can be in a clan, i have no idea.

i think it can be only four,i checked everyones clan and the highest was four people.i'm just wondering if it can go higher.
