i liked the lvl 100 ruby dragons before bahamut, bahamut is my favorite boss the lvl 100 rubys just heal me before i fight XD (elemental resistance roks!!!)

ummmmmm well id say the fight against tiamat was cool but my fav fight was against seifer in the lunatic pandora when odin gets kills. the limit he uses (i cant think whats its called) looked awesome and i thought the whole thing with guilgamesh coming into the battle was cool......i mean his second appearence since ff5

and the diablos fight was fun coz of the cast demi and he cast curga back :D tht was awesome

My favourite boss would probably be The very last one before you beat the game as when you beat the game you get the awesome credits and it gives a great sence acheivment afterwards.

Nope. You have to fight DoomTrain in FFVI, however.

I found most of the boss battles rather boring in FFVIII, but a few that stand out would be Ultima Weapon, Ultimecia, Jumbo Cactuar and the last battle with Seifer.

mine is the weapon bosses namely ultima and omega weapons. i hate them in the
game but i like their attacks and the places where they hang out! ultima is in deep sea research center a long way down and good 4 raising levels and omega is powerful
i only lasted 4 a second inthat battle

The attack is Dark Flare...it deals either the same or more Non-Elemental damage to all party members than GF Bahamut's Mega Flare ignoring all defences...

yoouch...........thts a bit much isnt it???? 100 times.....? surely not..? hes really simple.....i always had someone cast curaga on rinoa every now and then.....makes it easy and then do limit like fast shot with ivrine and only on adel and things like meltdown etc help :)

You dont have to be lvled up to take down bosses in FF8, u just need to get all the esperskills. I was about 40-50 when i deafeted Ultimecia in the end.

Tou just need to know how to do it :p

you could even complete FF8 at the starting levels just get card and use tht to get AP but no exp and then go through the game

sure its harder BUT do-able :D im gunna try it : (plus being higher lvls makes some enemys harder :p)

Cards not neccesary, when ju get Diablos just make him to train up his encouter none and wait until u get Raganrok and fly to Cacataur Island good ap there.
But cards help alot, just to get spell-stones and stuff. And then go to Island Closest to Hell/Heaven there u can draw Ultimas and other great magic just walking around and pressing select button. I think if u use this tactic u can clear the game at lvl 20 or around that.

In reference to what zeon said about high levels making enemies harder.

From what I can see through my own experieces, enemies do learn new attacks and spells at higher levels but their main gain through levelling is higher hp. This rule dont apply to bosses whose levels and stats dont change, regardless of your level.

I enjoyed fighting the brothers plus their lingo raised a few chuckles.

I don't think that they are harder to defeat at higher Levels >_> Waaaaaaaaay easier. But I had the top weapons this time, the 1st time, the only ones that weren't the most basic models were Squall and Zell's, but they were in the middle range though...

Prolly Adel... 'cuz it was the first one that took me many times to beat. (I don't think Ultimecia was that hard for me... however I can't remember how many times did it took me to beat Ultimecia).
Although I rly enjoyed everytime I fought Seifer... specially the one in which Odin appears... yeah, Seifer wins! XD
