PS3 vs. 360?

Around the net there have been a lot of trash talk towards Sony's PS3. Exspensive hardware, 20gb and 60gb memory, excellent prosessor, 599.99!!!!
A price like that can scare anyone away. Xbox 360 still around 299.99, in my opinion a best buy this Christmas. On the upside, you will still have money to buy games such as Perfect Dark Zero, Condemed, Quake, Oblivion, drumroll please.............Gears of War!!! PS3 is way better than the 360. When it just what I think, but I really think its better. Of course both of them really haven't came out with any really good games yet. But I know the PS3 is better...

Eh, I'd much rather have a PS3 than Wii and 360. Being an online gamer, the free online gaming that comes with the PS3 will pay itself off fast. The Wii looks amazing... but i can see the repetitive arm motions getting tireing fast. I play games to relax, not do an arm workout. :p

pS3 beats 360 in many ways, the graphics and games. PS3 is a Blu-ray player and it comes with a rechargeable wirelsesss controller. Also the online is free, people are talking about Gears of War and they have no idea what's about they just no it's good from what those critics say and I've seen the gameplay I can't judge anything about it from what I've seen. PS3 will have Devil May Cry 4, Final Fantasy XIII, Metal Gear Solid 4, Grand Theft Auto IV, Tekken 6, Resident Evil 5, and a lot more. All those games come from big franchises that are all high standard and they're all exclusive to PS3. I am interested in the Wii too, I haven't owned a Nintendo system since the 64.

Well, the ps3 won't come out here until next year but that doesn't matter to me. I still have to finish DQ8, KH2 and FFXII for the ps2 before I buy it anyway. However the price will be a problem, might have to wait until a pricedrop, don't have that much money atm :)

This is to Zeromus X, the xbox 360 does not over heat like everybody says it does. And its whooping the arse off of both the Game Cube and the Ps3. The only game that comes for the Wii that actually makes your brain think would be Twilight Princess but thats also for the Game Cube. The ps3 games that come out seem to be going to xbox 360 neways. And you still have the xbox 360 games to play. So by far the xbox 360 is better.

I've heard that PS3 hasn't that much compability.. just 1000 games +/- (I've heard, not 100% sure) Now I dunno.... PS3 is cool, I'm a big fan of sony :P and XBOX360 is... err.. microsoft <.<

So PS3, btw Square-Enix is deciding if FF13 is only or not only for PS3..

I've tried some PSX and PS2 games on a friend's PS3, and some of them didn't work.

And even a famous game like Pro Evolution Soccer 4 crashed A LOT!

I would only ask for Metal Gear, Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts series for the X360... otherwise I guess I won't buy any of the consoles.

X360 will also have Devil May Cry 4, Grand Theft Auto IV and those last two games, I guess (not sure about these two, though).

And Sony Computer Entertainment France president Georges Fornay said that FF13's exclusivity for the PS3 is under discussion ;)

Now that the Elite is coming out and the all awaited Halo 3 release slated for this Fall, its going to be Microsofts biggest year ever. And I agree Xbox has a big online community!

I think that right now, 360 pwns PS3, but by this time next year the stakes will be higher. Microsoft will probably keep its edge with the release of the 31337 system. In the end, 360 will win - to my horror. O:
