FF Magic Cards!

I have finally decided on what I should do with my life - and that is to create Magic: The Gathering cards based off of Final Fantasy! My friend hacked a Magic Card Maker demo to make it a full version, and he gave it to me. The question is... should I go through with it? And if so, could you guys give me some ideas (Power/Toughness, color, cost, abilities, or even just what it should be a card of) to start off with?

I'll try and help if you like, but I don't know how I can....

Just give me some examples of what you want me to make, and I'll make it. Just tell me what you want on the card and what "color" it should be, and I can fill in the holes.

The colors are:
White - Represents light and civiliation.
Red - Represents fire and recklessness.
Green - Represents nature and brute force.
Blue - Represents water and trickery.
Black - Represents darkness and decay.

For some more obvious things (i.e. Ifrit) you don't need to give me a color, just a name will be fine.

You do know that I could not care less? I want to make FF Magic Cards. Someone else made a few already? Big deal. I can make my own, it's not like just because there are some already I'm suddenly not allowed to do it.

:) I'm not sure why FF cards are worth making? Can you sell them? Are they like Baseball and Football cards that have value?

Nah, they're just for fun. You have to remember, I've got almost nothing to do in my spare time. You could print them out and put them in a card sleeve (if you play Magic: The Gathering, for instance) and use them like real cards.

"When" and "what time" are both questions related to time and therefore are redundant... but the answer is "now."

That is the absolute coolest picture of Alexander ever. I think I may have overshot on the cost for this card - maybe I should take off a white to balance it better?

Three green for an unblockable eleven damage attack? You think that costs too much mana? The cards cost a two greens and six to play, I don't think a 3 green cost is going to bother the player much at all.

They have the 6 and two green because that's what each card costs. Remember, this is setting up for a two-turn victory. I can afford to make them expensive.

Well people are putting Urza's lands (tower, PP, mine) into their decks now to help out tooth and nail, so 8 mana wont be hard.

please make a Cait Sith card! the summon or the character. (or the monster..anything called cait sith. ) he'd be a good white card, i'd think, even though he's not very trustworthy..

Well, I don't particularly like using characters themselves because there are way too many and I don't want to favor certain ones, but... if you can find me a good pic of Cait Sith (if you're using the FF7 character, it needs to be a good shot with the cat) then I'll see what I can do.

I just don't want to make cards based on the characters, because if I do one character I'm gonna have to do all of them. However, there are Cait Sith monsters in 4, and there was the Stray summon in 6 (of which the Japanese translation was, in fact, Cait Sith).

Find me a good close-up of the cat part of Cait Sith in FF7 and I'll make a card.

nah,just make the monster from ff4. let him have a "blaster" abilty, ya know, that instant death thing. thatd be interesting on a Magic card. by the way, have you visited this site, called "calamity from the skies" or something, they have Jenova cards there! (not sure if they're weak or totally broken though.) its a cool Jenova website.

Meh. I haven't played Magic in awhile, and I'm no expert at it anyway. I tried making an ability to reflect what Tonberry does in games, i.e., if it's attacked, it does knife, everyone's grudge, etc. Though if you want to suggest a better cost, feel free! :p

When you make Magic cards, or you'ld make normal cards, with an average power/strenght and mana cost, or if you'ld wanna cheat, then you gotta cheat big :D lol.

Could you be specific? :) :D 'Cause i like a good discussion. :D Example: Tonberry is an excellent card, since he gets a knife counter when target of a "spell or an ability" :D ........so even of your spells and/or abilities :cool: .
And the mana cost is okay, so, i'ld rate it an 8/10.

Ack! I didn't know Tonberry was all player's abilities. It should say "a spell or ability from a card any opponent controls."
