Mushroom Rock Road- WTF?

Everytime I cast haste, life, power break, or cheer the game sort of freezes (the animation for when they're building up the spell just stays on screen and the music keeps going). Has this happened to anyone else?

no,it hasn't happened to me...only on Mushroom Rock Road it does it to you?

You might have a problem with your disc or your lens on your ps2.

Exactly. From what Zerlina described, if this only happens on Mushroom Rock Road it sounds as if there's something wrong with that particular part of the disc that you PS2 is trying to read. Zerlina, have you had other, similar problems with FFX?

That happened to me outside of Ixion's temple.

Plus on the way, but it continued. It was framerate problems for me, but I'm not too sure what yours was.

Any scratches on the disk or anything out of the ordinary?

Clean Your Disc And You'll be Fine..

Unless Maybe you used Saved game Of Different Copy Of FFX

It could ALSO be possible that the game is glitching because the file may be corrupted. It's happened to me before.

But, it's most likely that there's something wrong with the disc...there always is...XDD

Its the disc 9 times out of 10. I have 2 copies of this game and one glitches when tidus and wakka go to besaid for the first time. They just stand there with their mouths moving but not doing anything else. It actually looks kinda funny.

Try some scratch remover on your discs. I did once on another of my games which didn't work and suddenly it started working.

Hmm something similar has happened in battles like that...it happened once or twice but when I summoned an Aeon with Yuna, she just stayed in the Summoning position and no aeon came and the other party members had left aswell but I left it for 5 mins to eat and when I got back she was still summoning so I had to reset my PS2..

I can honestly say that has never happened to me, although the game keeps freezing for me when I try to enter Bevelle after the second Seymour fight. Highbridge is no longer an available destination. >_>
