I have 2 computers in my home on wireless router. I want to somehow manipulate my kids computer from my computer rather than having to physically go to theirs to do what I need to do...help?

why dont you enable filesharing on their computers? Then you can access their computers when they have their computers on.

File sharing is definitely the easiest if you just want to move/copy files to and from your computers. To do this, you share a set of folders on the other computer (with write-access if you need to modify the contents from your computer), then you access the contents of the shared folders from your computer.

If you want to remote control the computer, and if you are using Windows XP/Vista, you can configure RDP (Remote Desktop) on the other computer, and then connect to it from your own computer. You can be logged on to the RDP:ed computer this way at the same time as someone is physically sitting by and is logged on to the other computer.
