Good on you mate its a great achievement for you :)

but note there are threads like this around already, unless people would like to discuss the rom and emulator for this beautiful game.

For the record, there is no such thing as a Final Fantasy VII 'ROM'. The term 'ROM' only applies if the game images is taken from a cartridge. FFVII was a CD game, so the term to use would be 'CD image', 'ISO image' or just 'ISO' (the latter two only technically apply if it's in .iso format but most people refer to them that way for simplicity).

I can't think of anything else to contribute. Well done I guess?

If he's playing it on an emulator, then he has a CD Image of the PS version.

its actaully called a CD ROM, not a CD. so u could actualy call it a rom still.

I tried the Emulator version, it lags like hell and I barely got anywhere in it, so I just got the PSP version and I've been playing that...

I heard the music stuffs up on the PC version though.

I still have FF7 on the PS1. All 3 discs but I haven't played it lately so I don't know whether they still work.

You didn't know there were 3 discs?

You change to the 2nd disc after Aeris dies and you change to the 3rd disc after you beat Hojo.

I've never even seen the discs. I've only played Emulator versions because it's impossible to find the discs in Texas. >_>

not bad thanks johnny hows, you.

As for ff7 has anyone tried the altered version of the pc version, some dude altered it with some hacking skills to improve the character graphics and avatars and made the game super hard. I saw a you tube video awile back with someone getting owned by ultima weapon, hes easy in the normal version of the game.
