No Anima for me?

((Spoilers...not sure if saying it matters.))
So because I am retarded, I am now at the bowels of Sin without Anima. So I go back to Bevelle only to realize that after seeing the fayth there and hearing it's story, I am not allowed back in.

Did I just miss my destruction sphere chance forever?

Wow um...well I don't think you can get Anima now. I looked up for ways to see if you can get back in Bevelle and found none.

But there might be one way. Do you know what New Game+ is?

Funny thing. I overheard something about New Game+ but when I looked it up, alot of people said it didn't exist and I got a little discouraged. lol What is it and how do I get it?

Well...New Game+ is only available in the International version (The one with Dark Aeons and Penance) so if you don't have it then it won't work.

Go to Bikanel Island and go to the area just before where you go into Home. You musn't of defeated Dark Ifrit for this to work or the glitch will be different.

You will see 2 Al Bhed guarding the way so you can't go to where Home was.
Now, walk towards the left guy while repeatedly hitting the O button (circle). When you stop, move the analog stick to the left while repeatedly hitting the circle button.

Eventually, you'll get past them and be able to control Tidus. Keep walking untill you leave the area. The next area you'll be in is Home. You'll basically start the game from the halfway point with all your stats as they were before the glitch. Also, when you were in Home before, Yuna wasn't in your party. Well, now she is.

You'll be able to use her in your party where you couldn't before. And you'll get to keep all the items and levels gained in those parts.

But there are exceptions.

In the Evrae fight, DO NOT SUMMON ANY AEONS. Yuna will run to the side of the ship and run on the spot meaning the game has glitched and you will have to reset the game because Yuna won't summon until she stops running and Evrae wont attack either since its not its turn.

I think this is the only thing you can't do if you do the glitch.

After the Wedding Part, you'll be in Bevelle Temple so you should be able to get the hidden treasure then, thus you'll be able to get Anima.

Oh and if your not sure about it, save a copy of your New Game+ to another slot so you always have your good game save if it doesn't work out.

Aw. Oh well. I have the International version and I tried this trick but it isn't working for me so I'm not gonna bother with it.

If you want Anima that badly, the only thing you can do is to start a new game.

there is no way of getting back into bevelle, if u dont have it, then thats it. do you have the 1 in zanarkand, perhaps u missed that 1 and not the 1 in bevelle?

It shouldn't matter, the chest that shows up after the cloister of trials in Bevelle should be the one you need, I'm assuming you've already tried getting Anima, right? As clief said, you may have missed the one in Zanarkand, which is pathetic to get, really...

Didn't I? I thought I had already. I should really make use of it being International and beat all the Dark Aeons, catch all the monsters in Spira and fight Penance.

So far I've only beaten Dark Valefor and Dark Bahamut. But only with Zanmato. Dark Magus Sisters are a pain....

Mine is owning ever so beautifully, I started concentrating on Yuna a little more after I complete Rikku's grid (which, btw, is far ahead of all my other characters. xD )

I made one of those, then I just went to Besaid, and farmed AP. Overdrive -> AP is an excellent weapon ability. xD

it is indeed. i went to omega ruins. do a lap of it.....u can get over 100 lvl's by doing that....good and easy

I do that to lvl up regularly, I just return to the save sphere if I need health.

Also the best place for Gil. Fight Mimic and have Gillionare equipped. Thats 100,000 gil straight away.

I don't like the flying Mimic. It annoys me because when you beat it and you have Haste on I think, it takes ages for it to fall to the ground and disappear. Especially when the no music is playing and all you hear is the fayth leaving it.

When you steal from a chest in the Omega Ruins, it has a chance to be a monster. And that monster is a Mimic.

The ground has low defense, whilst the flying mimic has crazy defense. I think it's immune to armor break too.

You'll be able to tell. The flying one is in the form of a dragon in a way. It has wings so you can tell its the flying one.

My mistake, guys, there are in fact 3 types of mimics, ground, flying and the actual mimic. The true mimic has no shape, it literally just floats like Charade from Soul Calibur 2.

Omega Ruins is the only place where the mimic shows up. Its defense is crazy high, and it's immune to Armor Break, though it only has 50,000 HP.

I'd think the mimic would be different in International, probably not, cause apparently rissole's found it. Maybe your luck hasn't struck you yet.

They might've taken the 3rd mimic out because I don't think I've ever come across it. And you fight a mimic someday Clief. If you wanna know what they look like, I'm sure there's pictures of it somewhere on the internet or even videos of it on youtube.

There's actually 4 mimics. This is what it says on FF wikia.

Mimics, or ???, are enemies in Final Fantasy X, and are found in the Omega Ruins. They are named so for their behavior of mimicking Treasure Chests, and the shapes of fiends they take on. There are four different shapes of the Mimic, each one having a different set of strengths and weaknesses. When encountering them in a battle (always with a Zaurus), they will show up in the form of a treasure chest. Steal from it (not Mug, as it'll destroy the chest), and if there's Nothing to steal, it'll "change" into the Mimic, a fiendish look-alike from a pile of bones, rocks, and other debris.

It is one of the few enemies in the game that can not be "captured" for the Monster Arena, as well as being unable to escape from the battle once they have changed into their fiend-like shapes.

While not one of the hardest enemies in the game, it is good to learn all of the weaknesses to take them down quickly and easily. Especially useful to know since they are one of the best sources of gil in the game, with each one dropping 50,000 gil, double that if a party member has the weapon ability Gillionaire. So, knowing what kills each shape quickly will guarantee survival along with quick gil.

Mimic (1): Takes on the shape of Ruminant fiends. Has the highest Strength and HP out of the four shapes. Both physical and magic attacks will work, as both defensive stats are low.

Mimic (2): This one is in the shape of Mech Machina. Has the lowest Strength out of all the shapes, but good Defense, Magic Defense, and the highest Speed. Using either physical or magic attacks against it will work.

Mimic (3): This Mimic is in the shape of the large Roc fiends. Has the highest Defense out of all the shapes but low Magic Defense, so magic is best used on it.

Mimic (4): In the shape of the Basilisk fiends. Highest Magic Defense, but low Defense, so beat it down with weapons.

Well, those are pretty tough, if you attack them in any way, they retaliate with Curse, which makes random status ailments and you can't use Overdrives.

Just felt like being annoying and mentioning that I beat all the dark Aeons without using Yojimbo's Zanmato :p I still never got around to beating Penance though since you need to get 255 luck and I really can't be bothered so far.
My Anima is fine also..kinda..fishy.

I did because I could never beat Sin before his overdrive was full. Then when Anima used Oblivion, it overkilled it. I was so happy then :D

I soon figured out that I should've done more damage, if I hadn't been in the middle of the Sin fight, I would've gone and powerleveled. Instead, I had to beat him not using Yuna...

yeah u can still get him u cant miss bevelle 1 because there chest right beside b4 u go in to fayth ur probably missing zandarkand 1 thats most common 1 to miss since u cant get it 1st time u gotta go bk to that 1 & get all the white square pieces

Well, you can miss the bevelle one, but you'd have to be an idiot to miss it lol. And then you cant go back to get it :P

Or, you can simply screw up on the most time consuming of cloisters. You can get to the last area without a Bevelle sphere, and end up going on without it. It isn't really a big deal, anyway. It's a weapon for Kimahri, and not the best one by far.

Actually, the chest in Bevelle is by default activated. I should know because I missed it on one of my files and still got him. Maybe I just got lucky.

and actually, the Magus Sisters are the truly broken summon. The only flaw is they have an auto battle function which is highly annoying and sometimes betraying.

I know, that's why i think anima is the best. He is stronger than them with his limit break and you have complete control over him...i hate using the magus sisters ai.

And that's wierd. I've missed it once and couldnt get anima....:/

When I first got the Magus Sisters, their initial damage was 99,999 with every physical attack, Anima's was around 75,000. Now I never even use summons, since my default team is basically of Soviet military proportions. lol

No, the US version deosn't have Dark Aeons. One of the best things about living in Australia is i get the PAL version of games :D
