Have You Beaten Inward Chaos?

Most people would say, 'hell naw!!!!!' but for those willing to challenge themselves may have beaten IC and the crazy ones like moi, enjoyed it. ^-^

So, if you've beaten the dreaded IC, who'd you do so with?

I've beaten it with Tidus, Cecil, and Jecht. Still enjoying it.

Hehe I'm stuck on Golbez or Kefka :(

Golbez is difficult to read for me, I block and get caught in his combo anyway. Kefka's just wiley if nothing else, but his moves tend to leave him open.

Inward Chaos. The story mode unlocked after clearing every other story.

I was using Squall but I'm gonna try with Cloud of Darkness and see if that works.

Sephiroth made this so easy... lol.

I beat this with CoD, Cloud, Jecht, Zidane, and Garland, didn't see the point of anyone else really, but its a great test to get you back on your game if you stop playing for a while.

I can't imagine beating it with Cloud or Garland, but Sephy is unusable for me.

And I barely go a day without playing, so I never really go out of practice. lol

Jecht was the easiest to beat it with for me, took less than an hour. xD

Wouldn't the Emperor be good against Chaos? Small arena, great for mines and Flares but not so great for Starfall.

Only if you're a supreme dodger with Mateus, maybe. Chaos dominates that small area, specially at level 110. :p

I'm up to Chaos now but I can't get past the second round. It's so annoying.

i would always get to the last round and die....if u get hit once by him, theres no hope for u later :(

Valor Resin, and Arcane Resin are big helpers, a good strength build also helps majorly. You can also practice on a lvl 105 Chaos in Quick Battle. The main strategy to beating Chaos is knowing how to dodge his attacks, and quickly countering them. Tidus is a master of Evade and Counter, might try him out.

Thanks for the advice. I might try out Exdeath as well, since I hear he is the easiest to use with all his blocks and counters.

Absolutely, but his movement is close to none, use Omni Air Dash if you need some speed.

I completed the IC challenge with *drum roll* none other than Cloud :D it wasn't easy I swear to god =.=

At first he's like the HARDEST BOSS EVAR!! But than once you knows his patterns, when to block and attack, etc, he's pretty simple :)

Exdeath and Jecht are better decisions, way better than Cloud, imo. The AI for Chaos can read Cloud like an open book. But Jecht Block blocks all of his BRV attacks, even the first few hits of Scarlet Rain. And Exdeath, needless to say, shouldn't have a scratch if you know what you're doing.
