the first ff i played was ff4. it will always be stuck in my head...as my avatar shows! :D after, i tried playing ff1, but i was too young when i played that, and couldnt even get past garland(very shameful...) then , i played ff6. wow! this is awesome! i said after beating it.. (mind you, they were ff2 and 3 here...)then, i didnt play ffs for awhile, but a few years later, i got dawn of souls. "what, this isnt the ff 2 i played!" (discovers the real order) then, i played the others...however, i cannot discuss the ways i obtained these downloads...fwahahaha.. :cool: then, i played ff7, ff8, and ff9. (dont worry , they werent roms...they cant make roms of those, can they? :confused: thatd take up alot of memory..) but , anyway, thats my little history of ff games... :)

My first FF was FF7.. probably because it was the first FF game to be released in Europe at all. Got it for xmas 1997 (about a month after it was released here in Sweden). I was absolutely stunned. I had never played an RPG before, and I was hooked right from the start. I had to try the older FF games out as well, and I did, just never got around to finishing any of them at that point (though I did like all of them.. except FF2 for NES probably). Then, I played FF8, FF9 and FF10, and finished FF1, FF3 and FF6 somewhere along the way :)

then, i played ff7, ff8, and ff9. (dont worry , they werent roms...they cant make roms of those, can they? thatd take up alot of memory..)
There isn't anything called PSX roms, but you can download so-called CD-images to your computer. Yes, they are as big as CDs (CD-image = harddrive copy of a CD), but with today's harddrive sizes, you can easily fit many many CD-images on it if you like.. and today's internet speeds allows them to be downloaded pretty quickly :)

the first ff i played was ff7, the first one to hit europe as shadowheart (my brother) said, and therefore i got it at the same time as he did :) ... i was to young to remember exactly what my first impressions were, but i think i liked it... after that i tried the older ones, i liked them but i suppose i was too young to really like them :(
after that i've played 8,9,10, haven't finished ff8 yet :( but i'm playing a game now and i'm on the third disc

Wow..family matters in Final Fantasy Network!hehe.. The first I played was FFVII too(the same again, the first released here in Europe) It was also my first RPG. That game made me buy every Final Fantasy since the seventh. I couldn't enjoy X, X-2 and the others 'cuz I don't have the PS2... :( I'll probably do it soon :p

I played FF III (VI) , and hated it. I played three years later and love it to this day. :)

I think when you mature to a certain point you start to appreciate RPGs

Yes, Breath of Fire and Breath of Fire 2 are both for SNES.

My first ff experience was ff9 and i couldnt get enough of it the chocobos and moogles dazzled me=) BTW my avatar is from Breath of fire 4 :D

The first FF I ever played was FFTactics, and it wasn't even my game! :rolleyes: My sister got the game for my dad, and he had lots of troubles with it (he isn't the game playing type) so I played it, and now I am at the final dungeon, but like with most FF's I've played, I chicken out at the last dungeon (I could easily beat Altima, I just don't feel like it)

My first one was FF7. I'd heard of the FF series and seen the games in the shops but didn't have the playstation to play them on. After I bought my brothers old playstation from him, I rushed out to find a FF game, any FF game, and finally managed to get my hands on a second hand copy of FF7. It was well worth the $40 I paid for it.

It was FFVII (1990s) and the story immediately struck me as amazing. While I never finished the game yet, it was still great. FFIX's my favorite, though.

I came to discover Final Fantasy IX when my little brother's father had bough a load of PS1 games from somebody's trunk, one of the games were Final fantasy IX and the other Square Enix game was Threads of Fate. When I first played FFIX I thought that Zidane was a girl and named him Tisha for a while, until I discovered he was a boy by my older brother I then restarted the game and left his name as Zidane. I fell in love with the series with that game I think it was during the year 2000 when I played it. FFIX got me started writing sequals and fan fics based off of it when I was 10. 3 years later I started to write my first book that was based off of IX and DBZ, I currently lost that book and had to rewrite which I still am today, for someday I can get it out to the public and create my own RPG series based off my books that I will dedicate to FFIX.

Mine was ff8 i brought a ps1 off a mate of mine and brought ff8 as it seemed like a cool game to play and i was right. It is my all time fav series of rpg. My absolute fav is ff9 though i think it's awsome.

My first FF experience was when I rented FF6 (known as FF3 for the SNES at the time) in '94. I was still an RPG noob and couldn't figure out how to beat the Whelk boss. Then I loaded up a saved file on the cartridge (during the escape from the M-Tek factory). I previously played the origninal Dragon Quest; (NES) it was the first RPG I played and then became intrerested in RPGs. FF6 was the 2nd.

The order in which I first played games in theFF main series(to the best of my memory):

FF 6 (beat)
FF 1 (workin' on it)
FF 4 (beat)
FF 7 (beat)
FF 8 (beat)
FF 5 (workin' on it)
FF 9 (beat)
FF X (beat)

I played IX first I obtained it from my brothers father one day he just bought a lot of PS1 games and he let me keep a few. I was astounded with the game on my first playthrough I thought it was really cool to see such an engrossing story in a videopgame, eventhough those weren't my exact words at the time I was only 9 or 10 back then.

I played FF VIII first. Februrary of 2004. Okay so I started really late ;) My stepfather got some old PS1 games from one of his coworkers, VIII was amongst them, and I fell in love like that. I really didn't know that video games could be that rich in story and I loved the characters and the music as well.

After that I came across Tactics. Barely played that. I could only use auto battle and not fight by myself, so I said screw it and gave it up. Then I played VII. Another awesome game. This September I finally bought a PS2 and got X right away. I love that too, as much if not more than VIII. I rented DoC after my computer died and I had free time on my hands. I liked that. I rented XII and have played quite a bit of it. Another great game. I'm hoping to actually buy it by the end of this month.

The first Final Fantasy I ever played was FF9. I didn't beat it at first, because I was so eager to find and play some of the other FF's XD

But I went back and played it all the way through at some point, and it's been one of my favorites since.

My first FF experience was with FF9.....
I went down to my game rental store and got up to Ice cave in on night cuz i loved it so much. (i was like 7, so my bed time was like 7:30)
then a few days later i bought it HOORAY.
later about wen i was 11, my friend told me he had a new game, FF8.
I borrowed it from him to check it out. I liked it so i also got it.
I have never played FF7, but over the course of a few years i have played:
FF2, 4,5,6,8, and 9
9 and 6 are the best

The first one I played was the American III for the SNES. Then I waited and JUMPED to FFX. After that, I just tracked down anything inbetween and tried to play them. I'm on FFV now. XD

I've been rather disappointed with the series in general since X. I've mentioned b4, but my first was also VI. Once VII came out I was totally a FF junkie. XD

I haven't played XI yet, so I guess technically I can't complain - but I loved the 'old school' d4z.

Guess everyone has something they get somewhat nostalgic about when they think of their childhood. ;ble

my 1st FF was VIII. i stumbled on it by mistake really .. i asked a mate if i could borrow a game n i just picked up the 1st game i saw lol . after that i was hooked, ive never liked a game as much as the FF series .. but i gotta say, my favourite has to be X. i cant put it down .. ive played it like 6-7 times n it never gets borin.

yeah D.R's tellin the truth..she lost it at the park last spring...it was tragic:( lol yeah my lil leeloo likes playin sonic the hedgehog thats what she was playin that day..i had that GBA specially airbrushed with mardi gras masks on it , by a good friend of mine who likes 2 customize electronics .. i didn't realize it was missing till we got home.. oh well maybe i'll just get a DS LITE n keep it far away from her. u kno what ? i just realized i never got a chance 2 beat ff5.....waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!
