Now this is not a thread of me asking for help finding this thing....just wandering who found this thing....coz I never succeded in it....so....ppl let's hear it who found the best sword in FF9 :confused: :p

Xartex, you just get it upon entering, and No, I've never gotten it, but my friend has. It teaches Climbhazzard ^^ but yeah. I saw the memory card to prove it.

Excalibur 2 still has the highest attacking power of all weapons in the game though afaik

yeye...I've never been fast enough to get it so...I say **** it ....so I completed FF9 without the sword

regarding the clock: i dont believe it starts over :p but i dont think i could ever get that sword...even more so, since i cant even start a new game :D

Climehazzard is skil of save the quin that is for you ,exallibur 2 not exist because i reed to meny of ff story only you can is it mace of zeus for vivi that is that.

You put bug in my head and that is that so A Tadeo got that sword . Yes 12 h but it is not worthy of game. This is also conected to Gilgamesh form FF 5 when he taken Excalipur, it also said that he will be back for that sword when he find Tin Armor, Yes in (gate to speace) Memoria after you fight with Lich, for clock i dont no that.

I've completed the game 8 0r 9 times and have never bothered with that quest cause I dont like to hurry the game. I like to take my time with ff games but if anyone knows the gameshark code which would give me this sword I will be very grateful.

I myself have never tried to get the sword but am considering trying it as i know tht i am capable of doing so.

I will try it at some point BUT you cannot i repeat CANNOT call yourself an final fantasy player (proper) if you use a gameshark if you want the excalibur 2 you do the sidequest if you don't then live without it.

Cheating in any ff is stupid and not nessecary. If you know you can beat the games then don't cheat.

I will let you all know how my attempt at it goes when i bother with it.

I only wanted to see what the sword was like cause I've never seen it. Its not proper cheating in the true sense as I wouldn't save the game after.

Looks like I will have to either do the 12 hrs thing or not, but even though I have cleared this game so many times I just cant bring myself to hurry through this game. Part of the fun for final fantasy games for me is exploring and taking my time doing it. I have my own opinion on this and I respect that you have your opinion on this aswell megaflare. I am playing ff10 at the moment and then 10 part 2 after so It will probably be months til I get to playing 9 again.
