CHEESE WEAPON
Ride a weird chocobo out of midgar and ride it to rocket town. (Note that you cannot go on mountains because the Weird Chocobo is afraid of heights.) Run around the rocket ten times and you can enter it. Now you will be prompted: "Where to?" You can answer one: "Disneyland" "West Side" "Party" Choosing Disneyland will take you to Gold Saucer, where all the costumes will be Disney-oriented. West Side takes you to a hidden area in midgar where Barret really grew up. Party will take you to Costa Del Sol, where Cid is having a party in the house with everyone else (including the Turks.) BUT YOU WANT TO CHOOSE THE HIDDEN FOURTH OPTION. This will bring up another question: "Are you sure?" Answer "Yes" and you will fly to the moon. When you land you have ten seconds to run into the cheese weapon, who is skipping by just as you land. If you touch him you can fight him. If not, game over.
Stats of the Cheese Weapon:
HP: 2,000,000,000
MP:20,000
Attacks: Sharp Cheddar (a physical attack, causes around +8000 damage)
Cheese Sneeze (Causes +5000 damage to all plus poison and confu)
Cheese Freeze (Ice based, causes +7000 damage to one)
Cheese Breeze (Wind based, causes +5000 damage to all)
Cheese Degrees (Fire, causes +8000 damage to one)
Vitamin Cheese (Heals the Cheese Weapon for 9999 HP)
Death by Cheese (Causes 9999 damage to all, used when HP is down to 1,000,000. Can only be blocked by casting shield or barrier beforehand)
EXP: 1,000,000
AP: 1,000,000 (like you'd need all that, anyway)
Gil: 1,000,000
Win: Cheese Ring
Steal: Cheese armlet (If you can equip it during battle, which you really can't, it will absorb all damage taken from the cheese weapon as HP)
Morph: Cheese Source (raises stats of all characters to 255)
Notes: The Cheese Weapon will summon four Cheeseasaurus Rexes. They can attack you for about 3000 HP each, and can steal items from you (they usually wind up stealing everything you have, but you can steal them back. you win them back at the end of the battle, anyway.) The easiest way to beat the Cheese Weapon is to summon Odin, which will turn him into cheese slices, then summon Titan to turn him into a cheese sandwich. Then summon Typoon to turn the sandwich over. Then summon the Knights of Round to put toppings on the sandwich. They will put on: Ham, Turkey, Salami, Bologna, Mayonnaise, Mustard, Pickles, Olives, Lettuce, Tomato, Peppers, and Onions.Repeat until dead.
Weird Chocobo
To get a Weird Chocobo you have to Breed a Chocobo with a Moogle and use a Kupo nut, that will get you either a Weird Chocobo (looks like a Chocobo but with a Moogle's head) or the R-Chocobo (I think the R stands for retarded because the chocobo has 0 on all stats and refuses to run in any of the Gold Saucer races and if you take him into the water on the world map, he will drown). The chances of you finding a Moogle in FF7 are slim though so a sure fire way is the Choco/Mog materia. Fight an Amazing Chocobo (Northern Continent) but cast Choco/Mog, if the Kamikaze Moogle appears it means it hasn't worked, you need to do it so that the Fat Chocobo appears. That will lower the Amazing Chocobo's Intelligence but it might kill it so be sure to cast Protect on the Chocobo beforehand. Once the Amazing Chocobo has 0 Intelligence, summon Choco/Mog again and the Moogle will jump off the Chocobo and it will veer into the mountain and die. The Moogle now takes the Amazing Chocobo as a replacement. When you go back to your Chocobo Ranch a new option will appear although it hasn't been translated into English so it will all be in Japanese. Select this option and the screen will go black and a Moogle will run across and take off it's bandana. Throw a Kupo Nut at it and it will smile and wink at you. You will then be returned to the Chocobo Ranch and either have the Weird Chocobo or the R-Chocobo.
Hard Mode
Press X 255 times before Aries' face appears in the begining FMV. She talks if you did it right. The only good things about hard mode is you can fight Sephy with 5 times the mako. He still isn't harder than the cheese WEAPON.
Super powered Buster sword
I know Tiny Bronco will enjoy this one ;) .R-Chocobos suck, but they can be parachuted from the Highwind. This serves no real purpose but if you're lucky and can remember all of the locations of Emerald Weapon, you can parachute the R-Chocobo out and have it drown in the same location Emerald is at, Emerald will be reduced to half HP, but the best thing to do is have it parachute out above Ruby Weapon. As it lands on Ruby, Ruby will grow and catapult the R-Chocobo onto the exact spot Emerald is at. Both Ruby and Emerald will be reduced to 1HP and if you Morph them you get Excalibur ore from Emerald and a Map from Ruby. The map can be overlayed onto the world map and will show the location of the Island Closest to Hell, which is the location of Hades who will smelt the Excalbur Ore and coat the Buster Sword in it. The Buster Sword will now have 4 sets of linked Materia slots (8 slots all together) with Triple AP and an attack % of 255 and attack power of 250. The reason this is is because mako sweat decreases the Buster Sword's power. The Excalibur ore converts mako sweat into energy. Thus making the Buster Sword more powerful.
Summons that stay
During summoning animation, if it's another character's turn, quickly go to the item menu, and select the appropriate item (according to the entity you've summoned, mimmet greens, if you summoned choco/mog) and use that item the moment the damage indicator appears. The summon will not go away but instead stay to fight, like the aeons in FFX.
Space materia and rockets
Not only upside down, but you must also insert the card in the HIDDEN THIRD SLOT in the PS2 console. And when you save the game, it says, "There seems to be no card in this slot. Are you sure you still want to save the game?"
Then instead of yes/no, hold the down button for one minute and it will say "Save the game now!".
Once you do that, you return to the world map and the next time you enter a town or board the highwind, Tifa comes up and says that she dreamt about the ghost of the weapon shop owner (the one who gives you the tutorial at the start of the game) and he wanted you to visit the ruins of sector 7 slums again.
Go to the park where Cloud and Aeris sat on the sldie, and you'll see a small hole in the debris through which you can crawl and end up in the destroyed portion of the weapon shop. There you meet the ghost and he gives you the Space breathing materia.
Space breathing materia is like the Under-Water Materia you get (for fighting Emerald with no time limit) except it lets you breathe in space. It has 4 levels.
1 Star - Space Breathing - Allows you to breathe once the Highwind has left the planet's atmosphere. Not much to do here, but you can travel around the world faster.
2 Stars - Outer Space Breathing - Allows you to visit the Dark Side of the moon whenever you want (This is NOT the side that has Cheese WEAPON on it. In fact, all that's here is a couple of Mastered Magic Materia and the Stellar Harp)
3 Stars - Deep Space Breathing - This allows you to travel to the Time/Space tear far out in deep space.
4 Stars - Master
It requires 1 million AP per star to level up (a total of 4 Million AP).
The Stellar Harp
The Stellar Harp is a lot like the Lunar Harp that can be dug up in the Bone Village. The Lunar Harp wakes up the sleeping forest and allows travel through it, whereas, the Stellar Harp will let the Sleeping Forest acknowledge your skill and will open the Direct path to the City of the Ancients (that Crystal Palace where Aeris prayed for Holy). Here you can use the Underwater Materia to dive down and collect Holy (but only after a tearful flashback). Holy sucks though as very few enemies are weak against it, but equipping it allows the user to break the damage limit.
The Time/Space tear
The Time/Space tear is useless unless you have 16 pieces of mastered Time Materia on every character, then cast Stop to stop time within it, then cast Haste to make time go backwards then enter it to travel back in time to just as you were leaving Kalm. From here on you have the opportunity to save Aeris (because you know what's coming) but Cloud has another spaz attack and he dies in Aeris place.
Space
Now, I know what you're all wondering; "How does the Highwind get into space?"
The answer is simple, after talking to the ghost and receiving the Space-Breathing Materia head to the other weapon shop owner (The guy who sold you batteries) and ask for the Experimental Fusion Rockets. He will ask if you want them as weapons, reply "No" and he'll fix them on the Highwind giving you the power to enter space, but without the Materia, you all implode and die.
Wow I didn't notice how long this would be! Any questions post them here :)
