i didnt know what it would fall under, so i just picked other.

during bosses, i set up every good status, then pound at them, healing when neccesary.

during random battles, i just plow through the enemy, healing after (or if neccesary.)

What I meant was which is your style during random battles....how do you attack,defend, or attack with magic usually........it's obvious!

I do what Zero does too. I set up a barrier or whatever and then hitem with everything I got. For example in FF7 in a big battle I will always use Big Guard and then cast regain. Then heal with white wind when necessary.

That would probably be stuck either beetween defence or magic....you know better.....

Depends on the battle. In a regular battle, I'd either go with just regular attacks, or if there's a large pack of monsters, use magic damaging all enemies to take them out faster. I never use summons in regular battles, too high MP cost to be worth it :) But during boss battles, I first throw up defenses (well, not sure if that's just FF7, with Big Guard being so easy and good way to do it), go all out with my most powerful summons and/or special attacks (like limit breaks) and heal when necessary. That's about standard tactics I would guess.

I concentrate on whatever I can to get the job done, whether it be magic, attack or defence. sometimes I kill with statuses though (when I'm bored)

I almost never use statuses, except on the rare instances there's a highly annoying enemy or a boss that is vulnerable to a certain or some status(es)..

i usually have two white mages ffx-2 and a beserka to slowly go crazy at the front i slowly build on my characters and think im ok coz at all the bosses which takes alot ov time i havent lost,only once at kefka when he start sucking all your magic but i was on my last bit wiv him and thats the closest iv ever been to dying.

Well my style consists mainly of physical attacks, thought its always better to count on other options in special opponents (such as undead,Element-absorbing, vulnerable Df-Status,Zombies etc.....), these options vary throught a large list (Junction,GF,Magic,Abilities, etc....)........

Use Magic.. :D It cuts physical attack power in half, and lowers your magical defense. Then you cast Ultima. And boom. o_o

I have several styles. When i fight the random battles I tend to just attack with physical attacks unless it is a large group of enemies for which I would use an ability which can damage all enemies.

If I'm in a battle which is going to be a long haul I tend to set up my party with beneficial statuses and I then use abilities which can weaken the enemy if possible, or if not, attack with my strongest spells, summons plus physical attacks or limits if they are available.

If I'm power levelling and I am seeking an enemy out which gives a great ammount of exp and useful items I will set up my party with items and armour that will suit the situation for the said enemy.
