Selphie, Rinoa or Quistis?

Is Rinoa, Selphie or Quistis the best girl in FF8? I personally like Selphie but what does everyone else think? Oh yeah, everyone I'm new here and I hope to find good friends here...but anyway, back to my question: is Rinoa, Selphie or Quistis the best FF8 girl??? :) :) :)

I don't like Selphie, there's absolutely nothing good about her IMO. Quistis has some good stuff though like Degenerator (cheapest move in the game, makes it sooo easy to level up if you want to), Big Guard (I think that's the name.. it's sort of like the one in FF7, not entirely though) and Shockwave Pulsar (only spell that can do more than 10,000 damage). I don't like Rinoa too much battle-wise, so I'd say Quistis is my favourite in battle amongst the girls. Story-and-other-than-battle-wise I'm not sure.. :)

Quistis. Even though I rarely use her, she's my second favorite playable female in the game (first being Edea for those five minutes you get her on your team). I can sum it up thusly - Blue Magic. I've always really liked Blue Magic in FF games (although some of the newer systems of getting blue magic are ridiculous) so compared to slots which aren't actually slots and dog tricks, Blue Magic is awesome. Plus, whips are cooler than nunchucks with handles the size of someone's torso or a little wrist-mounted toy shooter.

Personally I can't stand Rinoa and Selphie just reminds me of a friends annoying younger sister but I do like Quistis and use her a lot on the rare occasions I play FF8 these days :).

On Attractiveness scale (despite they ARE only computer animation and graphics) i'd have to say rinoa to be first in line followed closely by Quistis, then Selphie. as for usage, i either use Rinoa or Quistis....never Selphie.

I agree with DarkCloud. Yes, they're computer animations, but these were much prettier than those we were used to see. So, I think that the order for atractivness is this: Rinoa, Quistis, Selphie. I think I used to put in my team Rinoa, but I can't remember.

Beautifull Rinoa no doubt......Selphie being second (Not even close thought) being spunky and full of life but little times annoying.......finaly I never had any deep feelings for Quistis when I look at her along the time I feel I see only the outside shell of her all the time...she gets a bit emotional after visting the orphanage thought!

Quistis is my favorite. She's pretty, smart, uses blue magic (although how on earth do you get White Wind?), is great at cards, and I like her Red Scorpion and Save the Queen.

Im a big Selphie fan personally I liked the fact that she was always upbeat no matter what bad went wrong and she was cool (and kind of cute). Next Quistis because she just had that natural leader vibe to her and I always felt like if I were there I could trust her. And Rinoa I just never much cared for (in battle or otherwise) but she seemed like she would be a good friend.

Rinoa. I was mainly attracted to her because she's similar to me in many ways (she's an only child, has issues with her father, same breed of dog, similar appearance, etc etc).

Selphie is too hyper.

Quistis is too... teacher-ish and serious.

Plus I really like Rinoa in battle, she's a pretty kickass character.

Even though Quistis & Rinoa are animations, I still thought they were kinda attractive and Selphie I like because of her bubbly personality but sometimes she is annoying

Quistis wears interesting clothing, and has a whip (not serious about the whip thing) and her hair is good :P and in the beginning, I like a girl with glasses and a SeeD uniform xD.

Rinoa is second, she has nice long black hair and her attitude is extremely cute and flirty haha. It's funny.

Selphie is by far the cutest in terms of personality, but her hair reminds me of the mother from the brady bunch xD

Now, if we mean Battle wise.... Quistis, Selphie, then Rinoa

Quistis is with you from the beginning and I just keep shiva on her, and get the compatibility to 1000, and this proves useful throughout the whole game. Also, her blue magic tricks are pretty handy as well.

Selphie is #2 because her limit break is also pretty handy in some spots. I at least have the option to try again rather than a random dog attack.

Rinoa, is pretty useless unless I draw her some nice magic, junction her some nice stuff, and kick ass. If I don't, she's worthless.
