Both Mario and Luigi are too slow and infantile. Obviously, I like Sonic. Is fast, cool and modern, and all the other adjectives related to coolness I could imagine XD

Who's the one on the left in this picture? Some Dark Sonic? (i don't know all characters in the Sonic story, though, the latest character i heard about was like a purple wolf/fox, all dressed like a cowboy ^^;;)

It's Shadow the Hedgehog... they made some Sonic-like game but with him as the playable character instead (titled "Shadow the Hedgehog" of course), can't remember for what console, and I have only read about it a little. Not sure if he's been in any real Sonic games, but then I haven't played any Sonic games besides the first 3 for Sega Genesis (and those rock!) ;)

You're forgetting that there's more to Sonic than the classic run-and-jump games. For example, and I own one, Sonic R, for Sega Saturn. That is not one of those classic games, it's basically a racing game, with neat challenges and cool music on the side. I can't describe it much, because my Sega Saturn is broken for a long time and, so, I havnen't player Sonic R for a long time, but if you go to Wikipedia, you might find an article on the game ;)

There's also racing Mario games and I still think their better than Sonic racing games, mainly because there's items to pick up on the track, multiple courses, different racers/cars. On Sonic there isn't that much to choose from.

Actually, in Sonic R, you can select your racer and your track. There are 4 courses and 4 (IIRC) different ways to explore them, so its 16. Then, you can select to be either Sonic, Miles, Knuckles, Amy (In her cute little car) and Robotnic at a time. Then, when you clear some tracks, and if you win something that I don't remember what it is, you unlock new competitors, and if you defeat them, you can race with them too :p

Super Mario World's "Beyond The Star World" levels are pretty much easier than some of Sonic's acts. And THAT friend, is saying something.

chaos emeralds? in the megadrive versions yes, and as for it being mentioned that you have to watch the front of the screen cause sonic is running fast, well you only had to worry about that if you were going to do a speed run of the levels so you got a massive bonus for completing it quickly.

I dont do that when playing sonic as I like to explore the levels and find the secrets.

Sonics no fun if you just are hurrying to the end of the level just for the sake of it.

The easiest CE quest is Sonic - Triple Trouble for the GameGear. That's fairly easy. =D

While it's easier to get to the secret levels in Mario than it is Sonic, the secret levels beyond Star Road show you no mercy. Especially Tubular and Funky! =D I like the prize when you complete them all though.

So, Marios' game difficulty is easy and fun. XD

When u first met bowser in the 64 i was really nervous, and mario is fighting a lot of powerfull enemies to. The Hammer Brothers can be really frightening.

I hated Sunshine. Just the idea of using a water gun to do stuff annoyed me. Mario is supposed to jump on mushrooms and squish their shroomy heads!
