Cookies are things you eat. (oreos, chips ahoy, ninja) =P

Just kidding. Feel free to delete all your cookies and catche it wont ruin a thing. Cookies are information web servers store on your computer so they can later retrieve it. Such as when you click "save my password" on ffnet every time you come here it recognizes you using your cookies. Deleting them will only take away things like saved passwords, google searches, things you put in your address bar.

yer and a similar thing is deleting all interente files too offline content included. the less space used by those two things the easier and smoother ur internet will run :D

Oh, and so you know how:

Click on Tools(top of the page), then Internet Options, and it should be right there. Plus, in order to completely empty out your cookies, go to Internet Options, click on the tab "Content", and click on AutoComplete, then Clear Forms. Nothing else. Not every computer has it, of course. My piece of crap Windows 98 runs pretty smoothly when I do that once and a while. :D

Re: internet option help

Temporary internet files.

When you surf the internet, your browser saves (caches) all pages, images, etc, on your computer, so that the next time you visit the same page as you did earlier, the browser doesn't have to download all the images, etc over again, but instead can just use the ones on your computer. Which will speed things up, especially if you're on dial up. If you're on a high speed internet, it won't make as much of a difference. They are not necessary at all, you can safely delete them if you want. They do use up a lot of space on your harddrive if you don't clean them out very often.
