Well what do you think of the ending of Final Fantasy X? I personally don't like it. It's so sad when Tidus jumps off the airship into the farplane and leaves Yuna like that. I mean, come on! He didn't even say goodbye to everyone else, but I'm pretty sure that they all knew that they would see him again eventually.

I do like it even though it is sad. It was the best ending I think. Instead of the typical mushy gushy love ending where the guy gets the girl and he stays with her, Tidus leaves, and Yuna is all alone. I thought it was perfect. It also leaves room for another story or stories to develope.

The ending to FFX was extremely full of emotion,from happy that sin is finally gone to the point that Yuna looses her lover and is completely unhappy about it.
Not to mention if you are obsessed with the game,it was sorta sad to fight your aeons since they were like there for you all the time,or the scene were Tidus and Jecht are finally happy with each other after fighting all those years.
I was crying when i beat it,lol,im such a crybaby. ^.^

What Kat said is the true...very sad to molly-whop your aeons. Guess what...they come back in X-2...AND you get to molly-whop them again!!! 0.0 joygasm!

Seriously though? I loved the story development in X... EVERY part of the story just about led to the ending. Every part teaches Tidus about who he really is and the lot of them more about Spira until the thread unravels and we find that Yevon really isn't a religion at all...just a slave mechanism. But I was still like 'GTFOOH... Tidus leaves?! NOOOOOOOOOO!'
XD I'm just glad they brought him back in the perfect ending in X-2.

don't feel bad KAT I CRIED 2..im gonna cry now just thinkin of it;vilpoor aeons....poor tidus....poor poor yuna.:( ok itme 2 replay X-2 endin n my head.........k much better now:D

Sure, it's sad that Auron and Tidus both "die". (They were already both dead, in a manner of speaking). But instead of making a typical, everything turned out good ending, Square did this...bravo! :D Thank you, Square! ;)

BUT anyway,yea once i finally got to the FFX-2 ending everything was okie dokie,lol.
I sorta wished there was even more to the story than that..or if they like made a movie out of FFX.
but i wouldn't want it to turn out like...Spirits Within because i didn't really like that movie.

It was a ending full of emotion but you do see tidus emerging from the ocean after the games credits have rolled so you know he survived the defeat of sin and the aeons.

Yeah it does sound like a good idea. Maybe we should all send ideas to Square and when they read the stuff and see how genious we are! They hire us to work for them! Wouldn't that be awesome.

jus b4 u reach zanarkand, u get told that tidus isnt even real, he's jus a dream of the faith and so is sin...but wen sin was defeated, the faith's dream ended, so tidus disappeared. note that yuna went through him. he jumped off coz he didnt want he 2 see that he was jus gonne disappear...i havnt finished ffx-2, and honeslty i dont want 2, simply 4 da fact dat i think it was a poorly made game and culd have been ALOT beta than wat is was...but dats jus my oppinion

For me I think that ffx-2 was a good game overall but for me I didn't like the way the fiends had been toned down. I never went on any power levelling quests for this game but by the time I had finished the bevelle dungeon my characters were level 99.

I loved the ending though

I liked the ending, although it was sad and unexpected (if you weren't paying attention during the game) although i wasn't expecting Auron to be an un-sent, that really took me by surprise. I don't think they could have bettered the ending, apart from Tidus surviving =]

I've never seen the ending to be honest. I'd started maybe a total of 8 games but never have completed the game all the way through. I generally get all the way to sin and stop progressing the story line. I work on the monster arena, celestial weapons, aeons, etc. and wind up getting side tracked for forever. Then I get preoccupied by some other game. By the time I pick up FFX again, it's been so long that I want to begin a new game.

Just go whoop-on Sin, go through the final dungeon, see the ending and do a little dance (not entirely in that particular order. xP)

I thought it was one of the best endings to any of the games I really enjoyed it and it made you wonder what was going to happen to each of the characters, which they did tell us in X-2, even if that was the worst game ever made

The ending was an absolute tearjerker for me. T-T I still cry when I watch it. I wish Tidus could've stayed, but the dern Fayth had to yank him away. I can't imagine the heartbreak that Yuna experienced. She'll be scarred for life....oh wait, X-2....

All joking aside, Auron leaving was sad too, he was my favorite male character (next to my darling Rikku. ^-^) and him leaving was an impact on everyone.

i thought FFX was the perfect game from start to finish it had times of happiness & sadness if i was rating it i'd give 80000000/10 the ending was brilliant i spent 102 hours on my 1st play through i cryed like a bitch at the end (mind i was only 8 then) hey who's ur favourite character?? mines all them (sorry dont care bout grammar)

I dont have a favourite character for this game. But the game itself is awesome! The ending was done very very well.
