Re: Stop sign

It sounds like it is spyware. There are alot of programs on the web that claim to cure your computer when the program is actually spyware/virus. Spyfalcon is notorious for this.

What is the name of the program that keeps popping up?

Ok I know this thread is also heaps old but could I recommend using Ad-aware, its a free download, no virus I can assure you. But you have to manually run it everyday ( I recommend if your browsing the net alot) normally takes about half an hour but its worth it coz it gets rid of all cookies and nasties that are potentially harmful to your pc.

Oh and if you didn't resolve your stop sign thing, have you looked in Add/remove programs in control pannel? Maybe you can remove it there lol!

I recommend using http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ to skan your PC and remove Viruses. It is a pretty good online virus remover program. It help me a few times.
