And by God I mean a mod or shaggy - do something about the bots before they tell their bot friends this is a good place for them? :(
At least three joining in 1-2 weeks sucks.

I've noticed and reported a few bots, though some of them are getting smart and can read posts and reply to them within topic. Though their Sig usually gives them away. >_> Cause it usually contains something in the area of selling something or promoting some other site.

Keep reporting them. Just make sure you post the link to the bot post itself as it gets difficult to see them all. Thanks for keeping an eye out for them.

I click the Report button on the direct post sometimes, but it doesn't seem to do anything...

See the triangly button with the ! by your post? That's the Report button. Or, you can just PM Shaggy or ~Hidan~, but like Shaggy said, put a link in the message.
