best place to level up in what ff/where
 

most ffs, or rpgs for that matter have a "best place to level up", and ive made this list.
ff1: temple of fiends(not the first one :rolleyes: )
ff2: pandaemonium
ff3: silx tower
ff4: the core of the moon (behemoths...)
ff5: the cleft of dimension/ the void(the crystal part)
ff6: the dinosaur forest, if youre brave enough
ff7: northern crater, the magic pot area (clone elixirs :D )
ff8: those two islands...
ff9: the yan island

does anyone else think there is a place that should be added on? also, can someone add on the games i havent played? (tactics, 10 and up, etc.) behold the experience gaining power....

For FFIX, an alternative to Yans are Grand Dragons. They appear outside Gizamaluke's Grotto (if you climb that rope where the moogles are.. they may appear in other locations too, I'm not sure). They give slightly less Exp than Yans, but they are significantly easier to kill because they are vulnerable to Quina's Lv5 Death. Plus you don't have to worry about Snort, Virus, or a possible one-hit kill from the random damage of Comet.

X would hafta be either Omega Ruins or the Battle Arena depending on what you've caught.

And if you want both EXP and AP in IX right outside Daguerro would have to be the easiest area to LVL at considerng the 2 enemies there are Grand Dragons and Gimme-Cats (which give 10 AP).

"the island closed to heaven" and "the island closest to hell" (dont really know why theyre called that though.) sorry, i assumed that everyone knew that. (and you know what happens when you assume :) ) i cant really describe where they are though...can some one else show where they are? (im not a computer whiz...
--;) they have , like all level 100 monsters, (like frustrating ruby dragons...) and malboros... but youll probably always at least grow 1 level per fight, even in the 90s..and the best place for AP would be, of course the cactuar island...i think cactuars are cool, they remind of one of the three stooges when they run away.."woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woo woop!" ... i hope everyone knows what im talking about :D )

but yeah, if someone else knows how to display a map and point them out, itd be really appreciated! (or , if someone knows how to explain things better than me :p )

Not only will fight only level 100 monsters (allowing extremely fast leveling if your party has a really low average level) on Island Closest To Hell/Heaven, the islands are also covered in hidden draw points with the best magics in the game, like Ultima, Full-Life, Aura, Meteor.. and much more. If you want the draw points without having to fight any, just equip Enc-None (learned with GF Diablos).

And about their names, I think they are named that because they are the islands on the map farthest to the west respectively to the east.. or something.. may be wrong :)

For FFIX, Daguerro is definitely one of the best. Also, where is the Yan Island? Is it in Gaia? As for FFX, I definitely agree that the Omega Ruins are great. It sucks for low-levels who go there, though. Same with the Grand Dragons.

the yan island, actually called "vile island" , is a teeny bit southwest of the iifa tree. those sheep are really wolves in sheeps clothing :D (i use soul-blade with masamune the kill them off just sos ya know :) ) a big mountain fills up most of it...with a few forests. oh, and if youre doing the ozma side quest, if you gave the other 8 "friendly" monsters the gems, then give the "friendly" yan a gem, you can attack ozma physically. IMO, i just dont see the point, since magic seems the work better. never beat him though...)

update: in ff1,abuse the treasure chest trap with the "eye" (really named "beholder") its the chest in the ice cave that gives you the FLOATER.(fuyuushi/pumice) the "eye" gives about 3000exp and gil. and its a cinch to kill.(only a 175 or so hp...) keep killing it to level up indefinitely...

also, the pumice is called "fuyuushi" in japanese ff9.(which translates to "floating stone", which is what is used to get the airship in ff1. its used to get the ultimate summon in ff9, ark, who looks like an airship. just a nifty fact :p

The best place to level up final fantasy 7 is in north crator in what i call the pumpkin room Thos "magic Pot".but of coures who didn't know that
