Re: Ruby Weapon

ruby weapon is easy as [edited out]. kill two of your people before entering battle, wait for him to stike his hands in the sand, then bring back your two dead people becaues then he can't use that [edited out] sand attack on you, and then use knight of the around about 8-10 times and he is dead. easy as that. need any help e-mail me

Pretty much how I did it too - several times. I think I only used H.C.'s method once (and decided that was enough) - sorry hun

I found Emerald to be the more difficult one.

Since then I always make sure to get his magical form, and finish him with limits. But yeah, if you fight him as soon as possible, and you don't know anything about the fight before-hand, he may very well be trouble.

Ah yes, Rapps. I know that Aero3 whopped me nicely the first time through, but I can honestly not remember ever losing that fight. I tend to level quite a bit though.

Shadowheart - I had a much easier time with Lost Number this last pass through. He is, after all, suseptible to stop. Just hit him with choco mog a few times and...WHAMMIE!!!

Re: Ruby Weapon

Ok,.. I think this thread is dead. Ruby is pretty simple with this method. The combination of KoTR and Final Attack materia paired w/Phoenix is a winner.

All that's left afterwards is Killing Sephiroth with a Omnislash

Re: Ruby Weapon

I've never equipped Final Attack vs Ruby Weapon. It's redundant, I don't ever need it..

Re: Ruby Weapon

It is an enemy skill, it resurects one character with full HP for not too much MP
You can learn it off the ladies that live down the Northern Creater, all you have to do is manipulate one. You know where theres a fork in the road when you're heading for Sephiroth and you have to split up your party? The ladies hang out down the path to the right.

Re: Ruby Weapon

With Hades, Ruby won't even get to attack you, andtherefore even less so kill you, hence Final Attack is redundant
