Thats what I ment when I said that Tifa was taken by Zanga to Midgar. After Cloud and Zack are unconsiouse, but before Hojo arrives. Also, about the Sehpiroth clones. All those guys that ramble on about the reunion are clones. They all have random tatoos. This leads me to another BIG question.

Sephiroth's tatoo number is #1 being the first of the Jenova Project's results. All of the other people with tatoos are in the black cloaks. EXCEPT ONE! (Baring Cloud and Nanaki who also have tatoos)

This one pesron has the tatoo #2! Now... this unknown that isn't in a cloke is found in the Sector 5 Slums near Aeris's house. He lives in a big pipe. Aeris in Disc. 1 makes a special point of telling Cloud about this person. Here's the bomb shell. This person is possibly Zack! Now we know that Zack was injected with Jenova Cells and Mako along with Cloud and we know that they made it to Midgar alive. Then Shinra SOLDIERs attack "killing" Zack, but leaving Cloud for dead. The question is...Did Zack really Die? I think he didn't because he was injected with Jenova Cells(even if he supposidly didn't react). The point is the Jenova Cells kept Zack alive! Now Sephiroth has had 3 expeiriences that should have killed him and Cloud 2. Lucricia also should be dead. All of these people have Jenova in them and they do not die easily. So why should Zack die from a bunch of bullet wounds when Sephiroth can survive being thrown into the lifestream, then getting his butt kicked in North Crater, and still live to fight in AC. Cloud survived being stabbed through the middles and then getting pulled into the lifestream(In the Northern Crater) and going across the world to be spit up in Mideel. This is why I say Zack is still alive and is living in the Sector 5 Slums.
As to why he appears to be lost in his own mind? It looks a lot like how Cloud was when he was first experimented on, but Zack never recovered. Maybe Zack had a delayed reaction.

Zack is dead. Final Fantasy or not, getting shot at by numerous soldiers constitutes death. (All theories aside.)

If you see Advent Children, you can see Zack's spirit with Aerith's at the end of the movie.


Lucrecia is in that crystal in her cave. (It took me awhile to discover this.)

Sephiroth 'lived on' in the SHM by the Jenova cells, like a bug in a cocoon waiting to hatch, as they put it. (They could've executed it a bit better, but I guess fans like their Sephiroth...:/)

Hojo awaited the Reunion, but I dont' see how you think he wanted to create another Sephiroth. Although, I wouldn't doubt it coming from him. (He isn't exactly all the way there.)

I guess Zack is gone forever.

And I highly doubt Hojo intended to create another Sephiroth, because if that were the case he would simply start over injecting Jenova Cells into an unborn child. It seems like it would be a lot smarter, and therefore Hojo would do it, to just do what he knows works instead of trying to guess and create clones. I'm pretty sure Hojo was just setting up the Jenova Reunion predicting (and being right) what Sephiroth/Jenova would try to do.

I've always pondered how it's physically possible for a fully competent woman to let Hojo bear her child. I still do, actually.

I don't think its a small price to pay. she spent the last 20 years behind a waterfall! Even if it is a very cool place. I always thought Barret should've remade AVALANCHE and set it up behind the water fall. Cool secret base.

No. Tifa never new Cloud was really at Niblihen 5 years ago until he told her in the lifestream.
Cloud origionally thought that he was in Niblihen as Zack, a first class SOLDIER. Really he was an MP. Tifa never found this out though because Cloud was to ashamed that he never made it into SOLDIER and so hid behind the Shinra's Uniform. Whatch the flashback that occures when you enter the Shinra Mansion lab after Disc. 2.
