Re: The cards of Final Fantasy IX

For the rest, i know there are two special ones: the Namingway card (found in the Kuja's Chamber in his palace, used to change names in Daguerreo) and the Fat Chocobo card (received from Fat Chocobo himself in Chocobo's Paradise..when you've found all treasures and i've got them all )

Re: The cards of Final Fantasy IX

ehm, there are no character cards like in FF8...only characters like Hades, the Eidolons, ....and that's it. Only monsters, weapons, summons and magics and special cards.

Shiva and Ramuh from the bell tower in Alexandria after you return from the Iifa tree. Ring the bell to get them. Also, Lindblum from somewhere, probably linblum...nymphs, I believe, from Gryffins on the plain near Conde Petie on the forgotten or Los Continent.

Re: The cards of Final Fantasy IX

One of the adventurers in daguerro plays with nothing but airship cards but I've never known him to play the old skool airship card.

There is a second namingway card to be won at the card tournament but only if you did not send vivi to visit his home.

There is a old skool airship card in one of the chocograph treasures too

That particular one aint as powerful as the one you will find in a chest in the chocographs treasure hunt, though I cant remember which chocograph it is.

I bet someone on this forum knows.

Re: The cards of Final Fantasy IX

Heh heh, I remember being totally happy with my collection right after I got the Naimingway, Chocobo, and Airship cards. XD AND the Nova card, at least I think...

I perferred the card game from FF8, but FF9's card game had more of a classic charm to it. So much fun...ah, the good 'ol days. XDDD

Re: The cards of Final Fantasy IX

In my opinion i think the card game on this final fantasy sucks because you dont have anything to strive for. Ok you will be the envy of your mates for having all the cards but so what, lol

I didn't think that ANY of the mini-games in FFIX were that great...but ESPECIALLY jump rope. XP! That game just aggrivates the heck outta me. XP
