I ALWAYS CALL IT FOOTBALL, best sport in da world!

Awesome my 3 favourite teams (In Portugal league only) are the top 3 as usual,
and in the right order of my preference too!

FC Porto, Benfica, Sporting Lisbon

I used to like Coimbra a while back, not now thought!

Académica de Coimbra isn't a good team... at least not anymore.

Look at John Smith's avatar and you'll see my favourite team.

Oh... and btw, Luis, you have great great great great times there =D What's your favourite?

(btw... I called it Soccer because they were refering American Football as Football xD)

EDIT: Oh, and Slider, do you know a coach called Nelo Vingadas? He's portuguese, but he went to Egypt some years... I don't know which team he trained...

When he first came he coached the 2nd biggest club in Egypt Al Zamalek! (@ 2003)
They many trophies and cups that year
- EFA League Cup (Win the Egyptian League Premiere)
- CAF Super Cup (Win against CAF Confederation Champion)
- Saudi-Egyptian Super Cup (A Derby between Egypt's finest club that year and Saudi Arabia's, they don't do it anymore thought)
- Arab Club Cup (A tournament bewteen 64 best arab Clubs)
- Egyptian Cup (Egyptian knock-out Cup Tournament)
Now he's coaching the olympic team of Egypt (since 2004 if I'm not wrong)

And Zamalek hasn't won anything else since !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He's a great guy!

you gotta be kiddin you both were neighbours REALLY spec?

You should know that the most successfull club in Egypt AL Ahly is coached by portuguese Manuel José
And Zamalek was coached by another portuguese until recently nammed Manuel Cajuda

And his mother has Alzheimer, unfortunately =\ Really sad life.

Well there's only Al Ahly that participated twice in the Club World Cup (only club in history to do it ) on won 3rd place the 2nd time
And Zamalek, their life time rivals for almost a century now!

You shouldn't bother yourself much with african clubs, we can't be compared to UEFA and CONMEBOL Clubs AT ALL, but we're the best after them

Top 3 clubs in Egypt are :

1- AL Ahly (Cairo) Nickname: Red Devils
2- Al Zamalek (Cairo) Nickname: The white knights
3- AL Ismaily (Ismailia) Nicknames: Al Darawiish

Recenty Portuguese coaches has had an important effect on the egytpian football in these past few years

IN CELEBRATIONS OF THE CLUBS 100TH YEAR CELEBRATION, AL AHLY HAS CHALLENGED FC BARCELONA FOR A MATCH AT APRIL 24TH AND THE CHALLENGE WAS ACCEPTED!

We defeated Real Madrid the only time we played against them, but I don't think we'll beat Barcelona (even if they let us win!)
