I remember that happening to me when I was fighting some boss on X, it was the ultimate Behemoth boss in the Arenas and he used Meteor after struggling to kill him for an hour. Unfortunately, that still counts as a K.O....

Tch, shoulda used Auto-Life or Auto-Phoenix. Did you eventually beat him?

It was a long time ago when I thought my party was badass. lol

I beat him eventually, I wouldn't have been able to fight Nemesis if I didn't.

i hate the really big struggle bosses....ull like think ur good at the game, then WHAM!! a boss kills u 20 time..then u ALMOST beat him while battling for like an hour, then u die and he's got like 500HP left coz uve been counting and scanning (sense) him the whole time, proly wasting turns that u should b using to kill him, but u have to know how close u r....worst times in FF lol

lol, yes true that. i found the boss before u get into the submarine a lil difficult aswell, kept throwing my cloud away!!

Lol I kept dying at Ultimate Weapon (the one that gives you Ultima Weapon) for a while in Mideel. When it used Ultima Beam i was toast.

And when I first fought Ruby, I thought 'hmm, i think i can beat this'...man i was wrong when he quicksanded my two characters away.

I thought I could whip Midgar Zolom till it ejected my characters in the beginning of the battle. >_>

u seem to be coasting through there therath, had any difficulties yet? yeah, the 1st time i played i tried to kill the midgar zolom, now that i think about it, im glad he kicked a player out of the battle, otherwise i woulda bin game over

i didnt know wat the hell ruby weapon was wen i saw it, so i decided to fly into it, then it went into a battle, and i thort i was uber strong.....i was mistaken....that took me a LONG time to beat him. id fight him for a while, then go away and lvl up....come back.....and was still getting nowhere. i found emerald easier to beat...it only took me about 3 goes when fightin seriously, otherwise i jus went in with the attitude of, im guna die, but who cares? lol

ultimate weapon was a push over, i ws disapointed with that...but glad coz i got ultima weapon fast lol

the first time i ever played i got stuck on the first jenova encounter, on the ship ur on therath. its not that hard really, just that i was new to te whole FF world and wasnt sure wat i was doing. she kept stopping me and lazering me....sad

Lol. I just did the Mime/KOTR method to beat both. But I must admit that Emerald was easier.

I saw a video in youtube that shows Vincent & Barret go over the damage limit. It can only be done with them because everyones weapons are powered by there health except theres. Vincent's is powered by how many kills you have & Barret's is powered by how much AP is in his weapon so like you'd put materia with high AP in it (KOTR etc.).

Anyway, in the vid they were LV 99. There normal attacks did 9999. Even Morph as well. Anyway, this guy gave them hero drinks and berserked them to up there attack. Eventually when they attacked, wierd symbols would appear where the numbers would appear. This killed them straight away, no matter the HP.

One of the comments said that the game can't handle having so much damage that it goes over and sets the HP limit of the enemy to 0, thus making it defeated. This can be done on Emerald but not Ruby.

everyone says that emerald is harder, but i disagree i think ruby is

i would like to try that technique...but cant realy be bothered lol
