Tidus' real name is just 'Tida', but for the rest of you the correct pronunciation is 'Tee-dus'.

It's shown in KH it's pronounced 'tee-dus'. Tie-dus just sounds so much better though.

yea, that sword did look prett awesome anyways, after replaying the game i don't really think tidus is really all that annoying anymore. in the beginning of the game where he doesn't have a clue, yea. but when you get around the half way point i think he gains a lot of maturity and not quite as bothersome as before. must be Sin'a toxins or something :P

Although he can be annoying at some times...Tidus is one of the most humane characters, maybe the most humane character I've ever seen in a Final Fantasy game. =/
