Thats a very hard to decide question.. i got 2 favorites though Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts.

I'd have to say that the second bst series for me is Star Ocean. But I also really enjoy playing the Grandia games, they own. I mean the battle systam is just great, the minus is that they are a bit easy.
I really enjoyed KH and am gonna buy the second 1 as soon as I finish with DQ VIII |
