You can just use Edge's Smoke (or whatever it's called) to run from any normal battle.
I just go through the Lunar Ruins alone with one character until they level up to 99. |

Re: Favorite place to train.(FF4)
in the beginning areas when u first became a paladin i trained for ages ages just cecil the paladin getting his levels up to like 35 or so beofre i continued. he doesnt learned enuf magic really........but anyway in the earlier stages thts where i liked training but the lunar ruins at the end as it gave the best easy exp training. the enemy mist only cast scan and gave tonnes of exp so i kills all the characters part from one and trained against them. only problem being if i ran into another enemy looking for mists and i only one character like lvl 65 alive :s didnt help........

I either train in the Lunar Ruins or the Lunar Subterrane.
I got to LV99 in about 3 hours while battling in the Lunar Ruins. |

Re: Favorite place to train.(FF4)
wow nice one.........i cant seem to stick to training on FF4. the graphics make battles repeatitive and boring in a way and i just get sick of it. another place is the bit where demons gate is. the enemys get a sudden strength boost in there and u can get good exp from them at tht stage. (on the ps1 version anywayz)

Re: Favorite place to train.(FF4)
One of the best places to lv up Cecil on his own, Is outside Mythril after Leviathan attacks the party. If you've got Deathbringer equiped, you can 1 hit ko most enemies there, especially Zuu's who give around 450 Ex.
Later on in the game I always lv up against Dark Sage's in Bahamut's Cave, I have Rosa Silence him so he can't use Tornado, then kill of all party members except the one I want to lv up. You can get around 20,000 Ex from one battle. |

Re: Favorite place to train.(FF4)
To level up faster all u have 2 do is kill everyone except the person u want 2 train and there goes your extra exp.
