Anyone play Gunz: The Duel?

I'm always looking for people to play with but if you don't know what it is it's a free online multiplayer game that puts you up against other players from around the world. As you defeat other players you gain bounty (money) and exp points. The exp points level you up and you can use the bounty to buy new items, guns, melee weapons, armor for your hands, feet, legs, and upper torso.

As you level up you can use better weapons with increasing damage.
It's got multiple play modes which include Deathmatch, Team deathmatch, Assasination, Gladiator (melee weapons only) Team gladiator, Berserker (like deathmatch only the "berserker" glows blue and gains health and armor points everytime he/she defeats an enemy)

There are currently four different versions of the game:

Korean edition
Japanese edition
India edition
International edition (english)

The only difference between these four versions is the fact that international edition is still in beta, therefore it is missing items such as armor and certain types of weapons that are only available in the other versions of the game. For example, India gunz has a "Quest mode" server which is not yet supported in the international edition. In this mode you team up with other players and fight against monsters instead.

NOTE: If you have a fileplanet account i would reccommend downloading the FULL installer which includes the game update, this is to avoid a nasty wait time while updating the game after you install it/run the launcher.

After you download the game, before you can play you must register an account before you can log into the game to play, to do this go to the gunz website i linked in this thread. Click on the international edition link and there should be a banner that says "Be a citizen of astra sign up now" click that and make an account.

i used to play gunz. but me and my friends dropped it a while later. i can't remember why though :P. i'll consider it. but in the mean time, i do play America's Army, Guildwars, and Anarchy Online

I've almost quit a few times due to hackers/cheaters. They totally ruin the game. But they have long since died down. Even so, i won't let a little thing like cheaters get in the way of my having fun with a game i enjoy.

I normally play in match server 1, if it's full i play in server 2. If that's full i play in 3, and if 1, 2, and 3 are full i just don't play lol. Too many laggers on server 4, and 5.
