yoshitaka amano. he used to be the character designer/main art dude for all the ff games, up til 7. then, that damn nomura got the job, i suppose because his art is more" mainstream". amano still does concept art for the ffs , just not the overall design...you may or may not like his art style, but i love it

go to www.wikipedia.com , then look up "yoshitaka amano" for an article about him.

his english site is www.amanosworld.com

his japanese site is www.amanosworld.jp

the japanese site is better, because it has more artwork, and the links are in english, so you dont need to know japanese

it might take a while to download, or maybe my computer just sucks...probably the latter.

but yeah, amano is a god. along with sakaguchi and uematsu, who make up my "ff panthenon"

oh yeah, and he did do the design on ff9, as that was a tribute to the earlier ffs.

THe sig is sort of bloody and weird though. Also, I love the music of Final Fantasy (all of them).
