I've never seen Ribbon as an Item in FFVIII. What GF can you learn Ribbon from then?

I think the majority of final fantasy fans outside far east asia will not have a pocket station. The instructions of the game say in chocobo world there are items you cant get in the normal ff8 game

 I can go to Chocobo World! =D YES!!! =D But I only found 1 rare item yet It lets you learn the "Devour" ability Pretty cool
