There has been no announcement of any plans for a FFVIII movie yet, nor would I be surprised if there never was one.
In my opinion, the game wrapped everything up quite nicely. |

There has probably been a thread about this every month on every FF forum. It's not going to happen; FFVIII's fanbase isn't lucrative enough, the ending was too finite and the game itself was too critically divisive to ever warrent a sequel.
