New (and improved) favorite Thief thread!

My appologies to Marius-78... I jagged her 'Thief' threads...and so I am making a new one for her! = D

Which FF thief do you think was the best?

If you want, please give a brief description of why you think they are the best.

I chose Locke - because he has a heart for other people and is a man of integrity - he keeps his promises and (spoilers) even goes as far as the grave to bring his loved-one back. *sniff...sniff*

What do you think?

Actually seeing how I have never played the game with Zidane in it...call me a loser or whatever, I chose him because I find his name different. Very original...okay so now you're thinking well what about Rikku and Yuffie, yeah well they are also orginal but guess what? They are annoying as hell! They can take their bubbly selves and go die in a hole. I hate their character.

Really only Locke and Zidane are true thiefs cause that is their true job class.

But i'm going for zidane because he is big hearted and likes to help people while at the same time being a loveable rogue plus being able to nick valuable items from bosses is a must.

And you're right about nicking things from bosses. Especially if they just so happen to be one that is tough.

Locke is the best character, but I voted for Vaan as the best thief. because I remember a scene near the beginning of the game when he stole something from an archadian without him even noticing.

But Locke is the best character in the FF series <3

Oh, and I wanted to vote for that guy in FFII who only steals from the Empire, and gets some infromation =(

and as for that thief in the true ff2 I think his name is pavel or something similar spelled.

I would have no idea what his name would be in ff2..I have never played it.

i think he's right i believe it is pavel . if he's mentioning the gba 1 & 2 one i think he is any way

I own the psone version but as far as I know it is the same name for both platforms.

I own them but cant be bothered to play them to find out anytime soon. My ps2 recently decided to erase all my ps1 gamesaves which really annoyed me.
