avatar emergency!!!

somebody help! i have no clue how to upload an avatar! all the other websites i go to have avatars you can just click on and use, but i want to pick my own. anybody?(im not the smartest person when it comes to computers, so....)oh, and i use windows, if that helps anyone...

Don't worry, its easy .

First find a picture on the web you like and save it to your computer. Remember where it is.

Go into your User CP on this site and click on "edit avatar"

Go to the last box where it says "upload avatar from your computer" and click on the "browse" button.

Find the pic you want where you left it on your comp and click open. The box in the user cp should have the address of the pic in it ready to go.

Click "save changes" and the pic should appear on the page as "your current avatar".

If the pic is too large you can try resizing it in paint or a similar program or search for something smaller. The size limit is at the very bottom of the "edit avatar" page.

um...how do you make it the fitting size? im using adobe photoshop deluxe..

I've only just got that program myself and am still in the earliest stages of learning how to use it.

I did find these 3 pics on a quick google image search. All of them should be ok for size if you want to use one.
