Ehrgeiz / Vagrant Story

Neither of them are actual FInal Fantasys, but they are final fantasy related, so i wasnt sure where to put this thread... Anyways.

Has anybody here ever played either of these?

Ehrgeiz is a fighting game made by Namco, and starred many of the stars from Final Fantasy VII. Such as Cloud, Tifa, Sephiroth, Vincent, Yuffie, and Zack.

Vagrant Story is an RPG that takes place in Ivalice, which is where Tactics and XII took place, and has lots of references to Tactics.

Ive never played either of these, but i just saw info on them and they look great.

I own vagrant story it it cool. You only have one character and the game is in realtime.
So no turn based.

I think the game is a bit easy though when you have got ashley to learn all the abilities though. The final boss can be hard if you get the timing wrong on your defense.

As for ergheiz I am still gonna track it down oneday. I hear the game is pants though.

All the secret characters for it are from final fantasy 7, well the majority of them anyway.

Vagrant Story, ah, such a fine game! :O :3 And dang, the OST is just sublime.

Haven't played Ehrgeiz, but it looks pretty lol. ^^

Sounds like Vagrant Story is a good game. I may have to go buy it.
But one question first if thats alright.
Hows the game play? Is it a turn-taking game? Or is it more like an action-adventure?

Most of the game is action adventure til you fight an enemy. once that happens you will get a chance to attack an enemy then the game pauses when you dedcide what part of the enemy you want to hit. You will learn added abilities eventually through continual use of an ability.

When you are running around when in battle it is in real time til you decide what your attack is.

There are plenty of secrets too. You have to also play the game at least three times to get 100% of the map completed
