Before crisis: story line

Before Crisis takes place six years before the events in Final Fantasy VII. With its military might and Mako generators, the Shinra Electric Power Company is a powerful force in the world, but an environmentally-conscious rebel group known as AVALANCHE has arisen to put a stop to their ways. To deal with this new threat, Shinra organizes an elite team of intelligence officers-- the Turks.

At the beginning of the game, the player takes on the role of a Turk trainee-- either a male or a female character. From there, they can take on a number of missions in order to stop AVALANCHE, gaining experience and aquiring new Materia along the way
