the Wii ???

has anyone heard of the Wii ?it's like a new system or old i don't know if it ever came out.anybody know what the Wii is??

Lol, I can hardly catch up with the newest consoles, and I have no clue what exactly this wii is :/

The Wii is Nintendos Next Gen console. Orginally named The Revolution, they renamed it for potty joke purposes, and just standing out. You think, "Why Wii of all names?"

Because of it's playstyle. Once you get a hold of it, you'll literally be saying "wheeeeeeeeee!" It features a DVD style remote that interacts with the screen, ala Onimusha 3 sword on Onimusha 3, where you slash and it copies your movements on the screen(Only with GREAT detection)

Imagine running and shooting with Samus Aran, while doing it in your own home. Imagine flying, jumping, and jumping on Goombas in Mario Galaxy. In your own home. Imagine Fire Emblem! It's also been stated The Legend of Zelda:Twilight Princess was delayed so it'll be compatible for the Wii.

Besides it's awesome interaction, you can DOWNLOAD free Nintendo games for the Wii. Yes, it's been stated that so far, for any Nintendo system, some select games are downloadable. Reliving the old with the new, the Wii has certainly amazed me. It's my "first to buy" when it hits the stores. Rumored in November.

Edit:Oh, and it's also been said it's going to be the cheapest of the three (PS3, X-box 360, and Wii).

So, go out and buy one when it comes out. Or preorder it. As fast as you can.

It should also be noted the console's catch phrase 'Wii are the Revolution' ('Wii' is pronounced like 'We', btw), which takes mention of the console's codename. 'Wii' itself is a (combination of) very unused kana character (s), possibly to demonstrate how different the Wii is from the rest of the console crowd.

And it has a nice price tag to boot! Definitely the first of the next gen consoles I'm getting (*ignores XBox 360*)

It also has GIANT expectations, so it's a giant hit or a giant miss from Nintendo. But, Nintedo hardly opresses us. So, I'm getting one ASAP. =D

It'll be the first time since the N64 I've played a real Nintendo console. And a new SSB game...

And if it can play Gamecube games, I can finally play Tales of Symphonia!! <3

Goodness, go out and get it as soon as you can, or wait patiently for the Wii. That is a GREAT game.

Don't have much use for the Downloading, because I own a lot of the old games anyway. I am looking forward to using Snake and Wario in the new SSB though. =P

And unless it's VERY interactive and new, I'm not looking forward to Mario Galaxy. It just looks like Super Mario Sunshine, but in space, and without the water pack.
