Lol, I HAD to do this. This game deserves attention.

A guardian wolf named Shinarui, and the hero Nagi, team up to defeat an ageless demon, alive since the beginning of time(theirs anyway), named Orochi.

After the battle, the wolf Shinarui was injured severely, and died. One hundred years later, Orochi's awakening is close, due to some fool disturbing it's resting ground, and the very sword that defeated it. Sprites and Gods, afraid of the outcome, suggest that the Wood Sprite Sakuya revive Shinauri as the god of the sun, Ameratsu.

Following the god, a simple "Wandering Artist", dubbed Issun. They go around restoring peace to the world, in a quest to defeat Orochi reborn. Though they do not know, Orochi isn't the greatest source of evil in the world. Once the beast is defeated by the great Nagi's descendant, Susano. (He's mostly a sissy, but he wises up, with the help of the gods. ;) )

Along with that, you aquire an ability called the Celestial Brush, which stops time itself. As well as that handy ability, the god learns paint brush moves, which lets you draw objects that come to life. For example, drawing an infinity sign (sideways 8) after a certain mini-game enables you to create a "Fireburst" technique, which lets you summon a giant fire ball on the spot, deciding on the size.

The art style of the game is enough to attract many. As well as having attractive graphics, it has a VERY deep story, that picks up near the middle of the game. Once you defeat Orochi...AGAIN.. :O

The game has many different side missions, and some are required to get into areas of the game.

The game is VERY fun.. I ignored all my precious things in life, just to finish it. o_0 It's about as perfect as a video game can get. It also has a variety of cameos and references. Like an old grandma doing an Shun Goku Satsu(Raging Demon; Akuma in Street Fighter) to make rice cakes. And a little girl drawing Viewtiful Joe designs. XD That, and there's one part in the game where you can draw ANYTHING you want, and walk around with a piece of paper on your head and infiltrate Orochi's stronghold. I drew a middle finger. :O XD

Anyway, if you've never heard of this game. Get it. If you like Zelda ANY AT ALL(not that I'm saying it's a rip off of it or anything), purchase this game now. This is probably the best game I've ever played in my years of adventure games. Buy it now. O__o

Did/does anyone play this game?

I started playing it...I like it so far. I love how everything looks like a Japanese painting most of the time. :D And the characters are very clever.

(If you have played it, then some tips would be greatly appreciated. ^^)
