When Shuyin was alive.. no, i don't see him as a bad guy, as he attempted to use the Vegnagun to stop the war, for the love for Lenne.

Yep. Shuyin would've done ANYTHING to get Lenne. When they finally reached Vegnagun, they both got shot down. o.O When Yuna uses her Songstress Dress Sphere, Lennes spirit inhabits it, right? That's why Shuyin is so obsessed with Yuna. And when Shuyin finds out it's not Lenne, he goes crazy. Thus, trying to blow up Spira, to see Lenne again in the Farplane. I think anyway. So, he's not a villian. Just a mad lover. :D

BUT in common sence he probably would not being able to see his lover that long..

lol, I think as soon as they both died, and Lenne wasn't there with him, Shuyin went crazy. o.0

Lennes spirit attached itself to the dress sphere, and I dunno why. Maybe she liked to sing. o.O Then Yuna got ahold of it. Then it went on from there. Like, when Yuna is singing 1000 words. Lenne appears singing it too. So, that might be it. Dunno. =/

Well......when Yuna puts it on and Lenne inhabits it, Shuyin thinks it's Lenne. When he finds out it isn't, he won't stand for it. So, he's gonna blow up Spira, so he can see his love once again. I tested it out, and Vegnagun does indeed blow a big WTF?!?!? beam, and kills everyone.

crazy mother buzzer! shuyin must be really haunted by his past i mean they really had no room to shoot them just cause they wernt suppost to know aboot vegna gun but come on yeh know wat i mean? why would they shoot a summoner in the first place?

He doesn't care. Once Yuna and the Dress sphere and destroyed, Lennes spirit should appear. Like Shuyin's is. Well, that's my guess anyway. So, he wants her out of it, and in order to do that, he needs to defeat the person who has it, that being Yuna and her party. So, yeah. If you wait long enough, he'll blow up everything. And you get the worse ending.

Hi all *waves*

As far as i can tell, Shuyin wasn't evil just lovesick and haunted by his past... He was killed for trying to use vegnagun... but his emotions were so strong that his sprit kind of hung around in limbo.

Lenne was a popular singer in her time and was a summoner as well. she wasn't called up to fight as a summoner in the war; because people thought that it was better for her to use her talents to help boost morale.

when Lenne heard that Shuyin was going to try to finish things with Vegnagun, she tried to stop him! She was the first 'owner' of the songstress dress sphere. it was her feelings and her desire to help that helped seal her memories and spirit in the dress sphere for the gullwings to fins and Yuna to unlock the secrets over 1000 years later.

It wasn't the nicest of endings for either of them, but at least lenne was able to help them, and help both herself, Shuyin and even Tidus and Yuna to find their peace at last.

THis was very eerie, and when you eventually figure everything out it quite sad as well. But i found it very uplifting that everything gets sorted out in the end.... with a little help from more than one ocupant of the farplane.....*final battle and such.... keep your ears open for Auron giving some advice to Yuna!*

Believe me, i had to double check a few things too...

Hope that answers a few queries about those two...

Shuyin is definately a villian but is calmed down when lennes true spirit appears.

Saying that vegnagun the greatest machina in the world is a joke (three really strong hits and its dead)

But on the worse ending vegnagun destroys spira (I haven't seen it myself)

Wouldn't that make vegnangun stronger than sin? Seeing as sin never destroyed spira?

Sin>Vegnagun.

It's a basically invincible being versus a machine that can be taken apart from the inside if needed to. You can't even damage Sin. The only way they could find to kill it is go inside of it and settle things there. Whereas you can actually attack Vegnagun, and it'll leave a mark. =P
