It was not a bad game, but the storyline did suck. I loved the gaming system, and specially, the ATB mode

The story took forever to kick into gear, and the stupid 'Charlie's Angels' atmosphere at times was irritating. But I loved the Job System ('Dresspheres'), and the battles were very fun besides. Of course, the whole game wasn't very difficult...

the only thing good about the story line is the secret ending and that isnt even worth working for it :-/

...o-kay.

Merits:

- One of the better battlesystems.

- Astonishing graphics.

- The Dressphere system is quite a good job-class-adding.

Flaws:

- Fails miserably story-wise.

- Most of the cast of characters are dull and unappealing to the advencement of this story.

- Just like AC, it's in general but mere candy to the eye, and Final Fantasy sequels will probably never be enjoyable as its predecessors.

The storyline may be bad, but it has some funny quotes/scenes

i was saying thats the reason it didnt take on is own numeral in the final fantasy series. incase you haven't noticed (i hope you have)the next major final fantasy installment gets its own numeral. this one didnt, it got a previously used numeral with a 2, X-2, more than likely because it wasn't supposed to be big, but just a side project to keep FF players busy that didn't like the direction FFXI went with PTP features.

One of the only Final Fantasy SEQUELS...keyword is sequel here.. A sequel most always gets more attention than the last one, and is more worse.

But either way, I love playing FFX-2 as much as I do FFX. It's really fun to beat one, then play the other right after it. o_0 It's not the best FF game in the series, but it's not the worst. :D

i dont have a problem playing it...the fact jus is its grotesquely annoying at times in the game to where the story ruins the enjoyment. most of the time when i was playing it a 2-3rd time thru i jus skipped scenes :-/

Re: How many of you even LIKED this one

i'll admit, i skipped almost all of the scenes.

I skipped most of them after my third playthrough, lol...

You can skip the scenes? How do you do that?
