You could always try to get Quadra Magic using the Highwind trick.
Do you have Hades? If the boss isn't immune to Stop, then it should stop him.

I'd say your a high enough level now anyway. All you can really do is level your materia up or do the Fort Condar mission to get the Phoenix Materia if you haven't already.

It's funny to see your other party member knock you out when you attack Aerith at the Temple of Anicents. And then Cait Sith #2 comes along and is all happy and cheerful.

She's good if you can get Perfect on all her slots. Also Cait Sith has the strongest attack in the game just to let you know. I don't know why everyone doesn't like him.

You'll be leveling up Cloud as well. Your always gonna be using him until Meteor is summoned. But then you'll get to use him again later :D
Just think of it as an investment for Cloud, not Aerith
