3.0 But Before We Do That...
------------------------------------

Sure, you could continue the story with your newfound airship. OR, you could explore! Yeah, with an airship you can reach some places you couldn’t reach before. Let’s go over them, eh? Of course, all of this is optional, but you get some nice items and equipment out of it.

--------------
3.0.1 Agart
--------------

The town of Agart is a small village on an island south of Baron. Apparently the villagers are descended from dwarves or something. Whatever. It isn’t like that’s an important thing to take note of, right? You’ll also notice a well in the center of town who’s depth is supposedly unknown.

Another thing of interest is the observatory in the southwestern corner of town. There’s an actual telescope here, and the astronomers are studying funky things going on with one of the world’s two moons...pretty weird.

The weapon and armor shops sell different weapons and armor made from Iron, but don’t buy any. You’re going to find or have the opportunity to buy much better armor very soon. The grass to the left of the well area (where a red haired boy is usually walking around) hides a Boreas.

And see the house directly above the well area? If you go inside it, you’ll discover you won’t actually enter a new house area. You’ll just be walking around under a roof. (If that makes sense.) Check around to meet the Namingway in this town.

Well, other than that, not much else to do here...at least for now.

-------------------------
3.0.2 Mythril Village
-------------------------

This village is located on an island in the archipelago north of Mt. Ordeals. You’ll notice a cave on an island nearby, but you won’t be able to enter it at this point. Just land and enter this town.

And...what an interesting town it is! It seems it’s some sort of haven for midgets, frogs, and pigs. (All the status ailments...) They also process the metal mythril to forge supreme weapons and armor! Naturally you’ll want to look at their selection, as it offers unrivaled attack and defense for this point in the game. However, the equipment is quite expensive, so you may not be able to buy too much of it without going out to raise Gil. You may have to just wait until later to purchase any of this.

Now, onto the treasure. Like in Agart, there are houses you can actually ‘walk into’, except now there are more than just one. Unfortunately, these don’t have anything in them, so just ignore them.

However, there are more treasures hidden in the grass in this town than in Agart. Check the grass above the empty house to the north of town for Mythril (Mythril Dagger). The grass above the weapon and armor store conceals 5,000 Gil. The grass on the easternmost side of the town hides Mythril (Mythril Staff).

Before you leave, you can always get a kick out of the performing group outside the weapon and armor store.

------------
3.0.3 Mist
------------

Well, I’m sure you remember Mist, right? Turns out, there are actually some survivors here. (Somehow...) There’s also a few things we can pick up. You could’ve walked through the Mist Cave before, but now it’s easier with the airship.

When you enter, you’ll see that some people are still kickin’ it...all the normal people, anyway. It seems all the Summoners were wiped out. You can still talk to the NPCs and learn some interesting information, and of course, there’s some treasure to be found.

Check the grass in the northeastern part of the village (below the pond) for a Bomb. Go to the well at the southern part of town, and go right. You should pass through some trees into a secret passage. (Just like false walls). From going right, go up, and right, and search the grass for two more Bombs. (Now where do you think all these bombs came from?)

Now go to the house in the northwestern corner of the village. This happens to be Rydia’s old house. See the fireplace? It isn’t lit, so you can actually go up through a false wall. Then go right all the way to reach three chests. The upper chests contain from left to right: Tiara and Clothes. The lower chest contains a RubyRing (Ruby Ring).

Nothing much else to do here. If you’re still infiltrating Baron, the Dancing (Dancing Dagger) for Porom and Palom are good for them, but in my opinion, mages should stick to casting spells.

We just have one more place to go before stopping by Troia!
