Favorite place(s) in the game?

ANYWHERE in particular that you liked best? Share. :}

I liked traveling across the Ogir-Yesna and Nam-Yesna sandsea, on the way to King Raithwall's tomb. Some other places of my interest were Jahara and the Ozmone Plain, Eruyt village (with all the Viera,) and Paramina and the Stillshrine of Miriam. And I LOVED the music for the Sochen Cave Palace.

And while I'm at it, which place(s) did you HATE the most?

I LOATHED Giruvegan. Behemoths EVERYWHERE, and the fighting got SO bad for me, I once had to retreat ALL the way to the surface, just to use the Save Crystal. It was just ghastly, there...

Ridorana Cataract.

UUUUUUUGH.

Getting up to the top of the f***ing tower was one of the most annoying things I had ever had to do in ANY game--and that's saying something, really. GOD, it just went on and on and on forever, and I was just absolutely THRILLED at what awaited me at the top. Just lovely. <<;;

There's probably even more I'd like since I didn't really try exploring FFXII's more hidden areas at all.

And even though the majority of these are the most frustrating areas, they're often the most aesthetically beautiful or have the best music.

I like Feywood, the Necrohol of Nabudis, The Ancient City of Giruvegan and Nabreus Deadlands.

Hate:
I dislike: The Salikawood, Barheim Passage, Nalbina Fortress. On top of this list is: Nam and Ogir-Yensa Sandseas, along with the Tomb of Raithwall!

I hate the Zertinan caverns. How annoying or what.

I was walking around in it and was owned by a boss, possiby an esper. I went down in a few turns with my underlevelled party. lol

Is the Tchita Uplands the area between the Phon Coast and the Sochen Cave? If it is, then I love that freakin' place! I stole three Embroiddered Tippets from there in 20 minutes!

I like the mosphorian higwaste region too. Its very beautiful and scenic.

Yes, that's the Tchita Uplands. The Coerls there are the ones that give you the Tippets...but my understanding is that you have(?) to have Theifs' Cuffs on to steal them...and even then they are a rare steal.

That area is awesome if you are underleveled and just want to walk around exploring...just watch out later for a mark you fight in the Southern Area
