I used:

Stone Golem - He's next to Neos at night (I think...or during the day)

Octurian - He's on the beach South of Argonia and close to the Dragon Graveyard (pretty sure.)

Skeletoid - He's on the left-most side of the island the Dark Ruins are on. The area you can get to just by walking (not the cliff - THAT you need the Godbird soul for.)

Even with these three you'll need a bit of luck. Its likely that, in the last round Octurian may run out of MP and be unable to heal...as long as that pesky metal babble falls you should be ok. I usually have to go at it once or twice before winning.

Where did You Train Flame?

I liked training on the Godbird Isle, just north of her perch on the ledge there. At night,..which is the only time to fight there - you can find random groups of up to 8(?) metal babbles. Depending on how you trained your characters *cough spears, axes cough* you can kill 1-3 of these a fight pretty easily for 30K exp. Otherwise, you might be better off fighting in the Dragon Graveyard for KMS (king metal slimes.) Look at gamefaqs to see how to pull a 120K exp. battle. ^^;

Aha, I found your strategy outline, John...I need to try that next time! Though I think my team is still kind of weak right now... Yangus and the Hero (my hero's name is 'Jim') are level 27-28, and Jessica and Angelo are somewhat behind (25-26.) But hey, I think I can do it with just a bit more strategy...X3

I don't even think that's possible. Yangus is RLY weak in the spells catagory; so you'd have to rely on items to heal...add to that fact that he barely gets MP and you've got yourself a tank that's more like a BIG bullseye. I SRSLY don't think it's possible KB.
