on the FF Compendium I found an article about what Final Fantasy IV was supposed to be. It was supposed to be all about Airships and stuff... (look under release dates)

Heh, sounds interesting.. but I wonder if they really could have pulled off that thing where all townspeople could fly around in their own airships on a NES. Doesn't sound like it'd be powerful enough to handle that.. maybe that's why they scrapped those plans?

I don't know... but maybe they could reconsider it for maybe Final Fantasy XIII, you know? (especially now since they've gotten more airships to buy!)
