try the little island above the crescent island use your ship to get there. You will fight nothing but black flames and you will always get 3ap and a decent amount of exp too. This only works on world one though, or alternatively go after those prototype robots that live on those islands south of the map on world one though your party will need to manipulate it and force it to explode itself to defeat it quickly. You get 5ap for defeating one of those plus tonnes of exp but no gil i'm afraid
