can some1 help me pass lvl 40 inferno??

I'm in lvl 40 inferno thingy and i just cant beat the black elemental he kicked my ass with ultima....i tried the special dressphere with yuna i got 100% with rikku i got 100% and with paine 100% i tried the three of them and it doesnt work!!

You have to be leveled-up a lot and have items on that decrease your damage from magic. Any dressphere you have that boasts a lot of magic defense is a must! Having a lot of hp and shell on is the key to winning the battle. Keep hitting it with your most powerful spells/attacks until it dies. Good luck!

have 3 dark knights and use the darkness attack 3 times that should do it ....worked for me anyway

It only has 9999 HP, so Charon + Decent HP =Instant win. You have to sacrifice a character but leveling up is so easy in this game you won't miss the experience.

True, that's another way of doing it. Even though one girl won't get any EXP, it's easy to get, and it's a 1 turn kill.

i defeated it using the mix ability. I didn't have dark knight then.

I just mixed several elemental items and after a few turns it was dead.

I was really high leveled so a few attacks worked nicely for me, although if you are not leveled up Dark Knight works nicely

That's pretty much what I did, although after you beat him once, the Cat Nip item will help you beat him easier next time, I forgot how...
