I would take a stab to say that it is BECAUSE you didn't play it any more that you didn't find it enjoyable. The story up until you get to 2300AD isn't that good...but afterwards the game opens-up a lot more and becomes more exciting overall.

But I could be wrong and you may have no taste... J/K J/K
