Should FF7 be remade?

I was listening to Aerith's/Aeris theme on youtube and it got me into an FF7 mood. I came across a fan-made FF7 remake of the opening credits and menu. This got me thinking whether FF7 should be remade or not.

I'm more or less hoping it doesn't get remade. I mean it would be awesome to see what it would look like with better graphics but this game is a classic. If they remade it, they would make a classic game not so classic any more.

It should be left as it is.

Now I wait for the negative replys

Re: Should FF7 be remade?

haha, OMG, i watched the same thing today!!! thats freaky.

in a way i agree with u, i do want it remade jus for the sake of the graphics, and to see wat they would do with the battle system, and proly make a few changes to the story, but i dont want it remade coz u think they'll stuff it up and ruin it for future ff fans.

Re: Should FF7 be remade?

I only want it remade for the gfxs...that's it.

Everything else i want the same..including the character designs. Like sometimes when they remake...the characters look difference in the face then in original game design. (i don't mean the pixel character, but u know the official art they did how Cloud & the rest supposed to look)

If they do, I'll be sad the W-Item Glitch will be gone

Re: Should FF7 be remade?

haha, i dont think they'd get rid of that....that was put there intentionaly....if you have that item and know of the glitch, chances are your pretty powerful, so you dont overly need 99 megaelixers and what not....but still, it would be nice to get rid of some of the glitches, and make the game just that lil bit more challenging....also adding another optional boss at the end wouldnt be a bad idea XD

Re: Should FF7 be remade?

Ah yes...getting rid of Barret and Vincents Overflow glitch would be a start. And they need to make the Weapons harder and Sephiroth harder. Also the ability to fight Sapphire weapon...

Re: Should FF7 be remade?

And after we get the submarine, we should be able to see its body in the crater in the ocean. Or at least see it from the Underwater Mako reactor.

Re: Should FF7 be remade?

Re: Should FF7 be remade?

What about Cait Sith or I should say Reeve. And they should make Vincent and Yuffie main storyline characters, not optional.

Re: Should FF7 be remade?

We could somehow get Yuffie at Costa De Sol. Or make it that we have to go to Wutai somehow. Or make it a boss fight along the way to Junon. And for Vincent, have the room with his coffin in front of the library room. That way, we have to get Vincent to advance the story line.

Re: Should FF7 be remade?

that could perhaps work....but in doing that, how would we then get odin? the same way but without getting the key?

Re: Should FF7 be remade?

I guess. He could be in the room with Vincent.
